I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (1979)
Worst Adaptation ever
I had to read I Know Why The Caged Birds Sing in my English class and we watched the movie after finishing it. After watching the movie, I regret seeing. It completely took away any of the impact the book had. The scenes made no sense in their sequences, the acting was horrible, and it seemed as though the screen writer never actually picked up the book but opted for the cliff notes instead. I was outraged at how the movie ended. Almost half of the book was cut out and certain aspects were extremely important to Maya's growth as a person. If you have read ...Caged Birds, this movie will ruin the experience of the book so I warn you not to see it.
Drake & Josh (2004)
The New Lizzie McGuire
This show is basically Lizzie McGuire staring two boys who become step brothers. The acting is terrible and the boys, drake and josh go through the same teenager problems Lizzy and her friends went through. I could barely sit through one episode without wanting to through the TV remote at it. Overall: 2/10
Gigli (2003)
It doesn't matter how you pronouce it...
It still sucks if you don't pronounce it right. I have never been a fan of Jennifer Lopez but this has to be the worst. A horrible story line, stupid jokes and J.Lo makes it a bad movie. This is a warning to all that want to see it: Don't!
Over all 1/2*
Freaky Friday (2003)
A bore with few laughs
When I first went to see Freaky Friday, I was expecting a funny, coming of age story. What I got was terrible. The only good actors in the movie, were the ones that had small roles or cameos. As a fan of Lindsey Lohan, I am very appalled. There were some moments throughout the film with laughs but most of the jokes were corny and idiotic. For anyone who hasn't seen the movie, save your money and either see it on television or rent it. It's not worth the ten dollars to see it in the theater.
Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi (2001)
One of the Greatest Movies Ever
When I was first offered to see the movie, I refused but then I heard it won an Acadamy Award for best animated Movie. When I saw it, I was shocked at how much I loved the movie. If I was a profesional movie critic, I would make sure everyone should see this movie. The movie made me open my eyes to anime and other cartoons. I feel that this movie should be know all around the world and should win every award made in this world for movies. If anyone gives this movie a bad revue, I would go into total shock. For the best movie in the world, I feel that the critical aclaim is great!!! :)
