This show is not worth the 8 hours you'll give it.
In my opinion this would have been better as a mini movie. The first 3 episodes are okay, but the rest is just a slow, jumbled mess. It includes a lot of unnecessary added imaginary stuff (whats in Michelle's head) that is juxtaposed with the overall theme.
The 20/20 episode is a much better depiction of what actually happened. Watch one of the documentary's about the case instead, this show just glamorizes the tragedy of Conrad Roy & his family in my honest opinion. And I wish I hadn't wasted my time in it.
I give it 3 stars for Chloe Sevigny's portrayal of Conrad's mother.
