INSANE!!!
1 December 2023
What a brilliant performance by Ranbir. Absolutely thrilling. The direction is on par as well.

I know this is a long movie and some action sequences do seem like a lot but the director remains successful in keeping the audience hooked. Kudos to the music director for amazing score and sound effects. The ending was totally surprising. I am so glad there were no unnecessary songs or item numbers.

As the movie is rated 18 plus, it should definitely be considered before planning to go to the theater because the language, violence, and sexual references are intense. I am so excited for the next part.

All in all, two thumbs up!

Damien Chazelle.. I FREAKING LOVE YOU!!
1 September 2023
What a stunning stunning film. I am a huge fan of Damien Chazelle and I had to wait a long time to watch this film. And my Gaawd it was such a treat. The direction is absolutely fantatic. Margot Robbie is the star of the film. I hope she also gets nominated for the awards. The grand sets, the usual Damien Chazelle long shots, the acting, the dialogues and music and Oh My God the Music is fabulous. Justin Hurwitz did it again. I hope he and Damien Chazelle never stop collaborating. I know this film is not for everyone and I have no idea why it's rating here on IMDB are not what I expected, but I personally consider it one of the best film of 2023.

Once again, Justin Hurwitz and Damien Chazelle.. Two Thumbs Up. Cheers!

Exceptional storytelling and Genius Cinametography
20 July 2023
Just came out of the theater and watching Oppenheimer was such a great experience. I know many people will criticize the movie for some historical accuracy absence but I think Christopher Nolan has made this complicated man's story compelling, engaging, and simple to understand. The actors are phenomenal. Apart from the main leads, Robert Downey has probably done one of his finest work. His expressions, timing, delivery... Everything was on par. The cinematography has been crafted beautifully. I adored and enjoyed the whole three hours with ease and delight. This is the first attempt of Christopher Nolan at biographies and I think we should expect more of his work from this genre since it's not only entertaining but also sparks an interest to know history more. I have read the book earlier so I went to watch it with a little bit of knowledge and still enjoyed the film. I wish I could tell Cillian Murphy in person how stunning his screen presence has been throughout. Hopefully, this movie wins the awards like it deserves.

Mental Health Issues raised in an effective way
25 November 2022
A lot of awareness regarding mental health issues has been raised recently, thanks to the internet. I was not aware of this movie, nor anyone suggested me. Being someone who is currently going through kind of something like the lead character in the movie, it hit me hard. I teared up at places since I have so much to relate to this story. I loved Jordan. I know it sounds weird but I also have these imaginary/self-created people around me who would often push me to do things. I will not spoil much of the story but if you are someone who is going through some tough issues, watch this movie. It's a challenging subject, but the writer/director tried to convey the message in a light, fun, and impactful way. Although at times it does feel like the acting could have been better, and you kind of feel like a youtube-movie kind of vibe, but it's still worth it. In the end it gave me hope and made me think about my personal issues a little. Watch it for the story and thought-provoking message. I wish there were more movies about male mental health, like this. The writer not only considered the main phobia of the main character but also the grief, social anxiety, depression, and confusion that it all caused inside his head. I loved it.

This is NOT a bad film
21 February 2020
First of all Shahid Kapoor..BRAVO!!!! He has evolved and has improved immensely by playing brave, bold and daring characters. I would have never thought that a chocolate, boyish hero like him could pull characters like in KS, Haider and the one with Drugs di Maa di,,, theme. Awesome. His performance in this film will keep you hooked till the end , No matter if you are liking the story or Not. 10/10 Story: This modern day romance story felt like a kid of Devdas at times with a satisfying ending. Most of the people of course disliked the movie because of a few daring twists/scenes in the movie. I understand that its not for everyone. But to be very honest, you feel and understand the emotions inside you after the credits start rolling. I enjoyed it.

13 Reasons Why (2017–2020)

3rd Season
2 December 2019
I don't know what people didn't like in the third season but I was absolutely hooked. The story, acting, characters, suspense and the message are all well done. The scene where the Tyler guy shares his assault story with Clay is heartbreaking. Overall, even if there are loopholes in the story, the message makes it worth the time. I hope there is more.

Dark, Disturbing, Impactful and Stunning
3 October 2019
What an amazing experience. As everybody is already saying Joaquin Phoenix is incredible. There are few scenes where you feel him staring right into your own soul. You feel the pain, the misery, the struggle and the grief. His laughs makes you laugh in a very heart breaking-ly way. A very dark, dramatic and devastating portrayal of mental health issues. I have not seen such an amazing movie in a long time. Thank You makers. And Thank you Phoenix.

What a Pleasure..
24 August 2018
This is the very first time I ever watched a Marathi movie and I must say I was not disappointed. The actors have delivered a top noch performance. The best thing about this movie is direction and cinamatography. There are not item numbers, heavy make ups, fancy sets or CGI. All you look at is normal people portrying a story in a very believable atmosphere. I really liked the first part of the movie. The streets, houses and fields of village are just so fascinating. There is no item number. There is no nudity. There is no cheesy comedy. Just a plain yet gripping story. Bollywood and Pakistani film makers must look at this film as an example. The ending scenes have huge impact and leave you in shock and grief. Hats off to the director. Lots of love from Pakistan!!!

All the flaws are right in front but that won't stop you loving this amazing film..
9 March 2018
OK, with all the big cast and great film makers behind, everyone is expecting it to be a Masterpiece. Guess what.. It's not. I wasn't expecting much either. Especially when the critics are beating the drums of negativity all over the internet. I agree there are flaws in this film. In some scenes you do notice there is cliché and kind of typical drama that could have been made in a different way but believe me when I say this.. This is that kind of film which will evoke that uplifiting feeling that makes you happy, optimistic and think about yourself at the same time. I promise, before watching the film I was totally different, static, boring and in a very low state...I feel like this film actually regenerated my internal energy. The music is a treat. I am definately watching it again soon. It's a mood recharger.. It's fun... It's a treat.. It's a wake up call.. It's a celebration.. Go watch it....!!

Amazing Film and Outstanding Performance by Radcliffe
2 December 2017
The movie is amazing. Though I do agree it could have much more impact if the duration was a bit shorter but still I thoroughly enjoyed each frame. The direction is spot-on but the really captivating feature was Danial Radcliffe's performance. I have no idea why he is not being recognized and appreciated as much he deserved. Anyone who has watched Swiss Army Man will agree that Danial now is actually choosing the roles with high and challenging performance requirements.I have been a huge Harry Potter fan and had my doubts about accepting Danial in other characters but Man, the guy is good. Well Done Danial. You will really like the movie if you like movies like into the woods, Wild, Tracks etc. Another good one. 8/10.

This is Such a gem of a Drama!!
10 June 2015
I have read and loved the novels written by the great Pakistani writer Umera Ahmed. When Shehr-e-Zaat was announced, I was deeply skeptical about the faithfulness of TV screen artists to the beautiful characters I had in my mind of the meaningful story of this novel. Anyhow, I couldn't manage to watch it for a long time but do heard praise and appreciation of the whole drama team. The other day I was you-tubing when I saw it's first episode in the list. To see how those characters were introduced, I clicked on the episode and now just in one night, I am done with 10 episodes of this beautifully created drama. One thing that really is appreciable here is that Umera has taken the same story of this short novel to a whole new level with the same central theme. After the writer, Sarmad Khosat as a director has totally done the job very well. Mahira and Sameena Peerzada have done remarkable performances. The dialogues of the dramas are thoughtful and often I had to pause the video and go into the thinking mode. If you are thinking to watch this drama and came on it's IMDb page for checking the ratings and reviews, You need to stop worrying. No, you won't waste your time. It's a different yet even beautiful adoption of the novel. Watch it !! It's a Gem for sure!!!

Grey's Anatomy: I Saw What I Saw (2009)
Season 6, Episode 6

A new level of Twist
9 May 2014
One of my friend doctor always says that Grey's Anatomy sucks big time because it portrays wrong image of a hospital.Like SGH is a "top notch" hospital without digital x-rays etc. We watched this episode together and he was sitting by my side on couch. This episodes offers some really outstanding direction, performances and drama. The background music adds to the thrill and suspense. During all this case my friend kept saying "No He/She can't be" No... And at the end he took a deep breath, and said I swear to God, this was one of the best thing on TV in a long while. So guys, No doubt GA keeps me hooked all the time, sometimes it disappoints as well, but talking about this episode particularly, I must say Outstanding.
