I get it, the acting is not good, but I see the potential. In better acting hands this could be above average. The writing could be better, but I see the potential. The music was really good. This gives me 90's early 00's vibes. The girls are cute and I love that Steve Wolsh isn't afraid of nudity and gore. The practical effects are refreshing. I enjoyed the ode to John Carpenter. I don't usually like independent stuff, but I dug it. I hope Wolsh makes more movies. They are getting better. If you're looking for top notch polish, this isn't it. If you're looking for a throwback that shows some potential, this could be right up your alley.

I'm pretty sure this was written by Google AI. I kept watching to see how far it would go and boy I was right on. This foolishness was not only unintentionally funny, but the epitome of how lefties want things to go in society. This is exactly why the sides will NEVER come together to agree on anything. The main character was unlikeable from the start and the antagonist was such a manifestation of what leftists want to portray conservatives as. It's just plain ignorance. I'm disgusted. This ending was as ludicrous as you might imagine. The leftist saves the day in an implausible way and the child, who is in the movie for 8 seconds. If you're into liberal sermons, this should be right up your alley.

You know it never ceases to amaze me the how people don't do their homework. Everyone who comments on the dubbing of the movie needs to understand that Italian films, especially from the 70's and 80's, were shot in each actors natural language then dubbed later to whatever language was needed. So each actor during filming was speaking his/her language. Most of the time actors couldn't understand each other within a scene. A lot of times they didn't even record sound! Its embarrassing that people don't even look into these types of things, and then they comment on it.
This is a bad movie but in a good way. Its cool to see Alice Cooper try his hand at acting, but you see why he never hit it big in the movies. Monster Dog is silly 80's trash, but I loved it.

I just spent the last 30 minutes or so reading the "Bad" reviews of this movie and this is what I heard: "This movie kept me from going in the water for years!" and "Sharks don't act like this" and "Millions and millions of sharks were killed because of this movie!" It blows me away that people would say downright stupid things like this.
If this movie kept you out of the water for x-amount of years, thats what it was supposed to do!!!!! If you think "sharks don't do that", then you should tell me how many times through the years ET has stopped off for Reese's Pieces at your place over the years or How many times Jabba the Hut has kidnapped you. It is FICTION!!!!!!!!!!1 If you feel too many sharks have been killed cause of this movie, GO HUG A TREE. Give me a break.
Now to the movie. This is one of the best movies of all time. The cast? Fantastic. The suspense? Awesome. The fear I still have at the beach? Downright exhilarating. The movie does seem a little slow at times, but I understand that there had to be "Slow" time before the final fight.
Robert Shaw was amazing in the Indianapolis speech and I thought Schieder was great as the land-lubber sheriff.
The movie is better than the source material, I think. I believe the newer generation CANNOT enjoy this film, only because Hollywood has gone to the MTV way of making films. So if you are over 30 you will probably enjoy this film, if not, go watch Jersey Shore.
