Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place: Two Guys, a Girl and an Engagement: Part 1 (1999)
one of the best shows forgotten
I actually liked this show..it was very original and starred some up and coming actors..Maybe that is why it was doomed...because it was well written....I loved how the tossed the bare naked ladies into the shows..that alone made it interesting....the weekly plots were well set up and the banter among the stars was natural and well thought up...wish this show could have lasted longer than it did... while the Bare naked Lady's were at the hight of their popularity, this show saw an opportunity to include them not only as a musical addition but actually gave them lines in the show. Perhaps for me this was one of the features that grabbed me the most.Ryan Reynolds showed the reason he would go on to better and bigger things..
In summery this show had all the features anyone could have looked for..the comedy and people were well plotted
The Benny Hill Show (1969)
tpo ranked...4 0f 5 stars
lightning in a jar...what the producers had.....a great show, funny entertaining...all you could ask for...after reading the trivia...one can only wonder what they were thinking when canceling this show....risqué at that time but noting like now....the English version of Red Skelton slapstick with adult themes...I still love watching these shows when I get a chance...hope this won't spoil it for you In Summary The TV shows of England were often a little more than was allowed here in the United States...censorship was tighter here than in England. Around the same time as Benny Hill was taking off overseas, here in America Laugh-in was getting started....This show also was deemed a little to risqué but nowhere near Benny hill. I would give this show 4 out of 5 stars
