The Boys: The Instant White-Hot Wild (2022)
Season 3, Episode 8
Best season Eva
8 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
No doubt this was the best season so far.

RIP Noir.

Meave was very missused, no wonder she left the show. I was just thinking that we never saw her on social media with the rest. Maybe she never belonged.

A little disappointed by Soldier Boy, but glad he's still alive.

Homelander and his fans are a terrifying look to reality.

Let's hope season 4 is the last or second to last, and the story is not dragged in the end.

Ok, that was cliché yet good.
1 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The finale was a little Star Wars, yet it let you wonder where this is going. Anything could happen.

Butcher won't endangered Hughie, but there's a probability he's dying soon.

Oh, and we need more Black Noir, please.

Doesn't make sense.
3 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It just doesn't make sense.

Ying Yiang can't build his new internet. He can't use the patent. So what's the big deal? You have to know when to be funny and when to make sense.

Panamá? Yeah right...
8 August 2021
I was surprised to see that they filmed in the actual malecón of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, but why does Hollywood insists in pass a city as some other city? That's not Panamá city, that's Guadalajara, Jalisco's downtown (they even have a scene in the Arcos Vallarta monument).

Also, when the lancheros rescue Herbie out of the ocean, not only do they speak and look as mexicans, but the music they put is the typical spaniard-mex they love to portray all Latinoamérica with...

Otherwise, this is the worst Herbie movie, and that says a lot.

Bo Burnham: Inside (2021 TV Special)
A true artist
1 June 2021
Bo Burnham has been improving and improving over the years.

Maduration and experience have helped him a lot.

His new production is out there, I totally dig it. I guess he did cater more heavily to young people.

I can't wait to see where his career'll headed after this... Someone give him a trophy!

Did I just watch a bad edit version?
17 January 2021
Was that the real version? Does the editor deserves a Razzie? What have I just watched? I'm so confused. This review has the same structure like the movie. I don't think I get the final version. This is still in post-production.

On the Rocks (2020)
So so
10 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I was going to rate it at 6, but I'm really sick how no one in Hollywood checks cultural facts from other countries. They say that they are going to Manzanillo (in Colima), and at the first scene there they put a mariachi song of Guadalajara (capital of Jalisco). Sure, Colima used to be part of Jalisco, but that a was a long long time ago and it's a different state with its own traditions. Just so you know, no one in México outside Jalisco cares about mariachi and charros and tequila, that's something of my State. It's like when Germany gets minimized for the Bavaria culture. If we're your neighbors, at least have the courtesy to get us right...

Woke how?
19 October 2020
I get that it does not feel like Fargo previous seasons or the movie, but in what way is this Woke? Believe me, I hate the PC movement, they have ruined a lot of franchises, yet here it's a story about Italians vs blacks, with some interesting women protagonists. I think Fargo is one of the best TV series made in these last years. It's always a delight to watch it. So far it hasn't disappoint (unlike True Detective), so I will watch all the season before I made a final judgment.

Tessa is such a bad actress. I was happy to see her dead... Then again this is a Woke show so of course the black Mary Sue was going to live... 🙄

Surprisingly good
28 March 2020
By all means it should be a 70 tops, but it has heart, a great chemistry between the characters and good balance between drama and comedy. Ben Schwartz is great here but Billy Crystal really steals the show.

Westworld: The Winter Line (2020)
Season 3, Episode 2
Meh...
23 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Season 1 was great. Season 2 thought itself as smart and was a mess. Season 3 looks like a worse version of the 2nd. Continuation of Mary Sues, "smart" storylines wich don't make sense and departing from the characters' arch. Because if you're left with Hosts, your characters can't have heart, can they? They are perfect, and when not it's to convenience of the plot, you can get attached to characters that can't really die.

The nail in the coffin was the Dumb & Dumber scene. It was the middle finger from HBO to the viewers, and it was cringe to watch. I'm so happy I've never paid an HBO subscription and I download its content instead. It's not illegal in my country so it's OK, I'm subverting their expectations, aM i NoT?

I never thought I'd seen a better season finale than Six Feet Under's... I was wrong!

Sam Esmail, thank you for the ride. You are a genius. Rami Malek, thank you for portraying a difficult character as Elliot to perfection.

The End of the F***ing World: Episode #2.7 (2019)
Season 2, Episode 7
Spoilers ahead, read it after watching 207
9 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Last warning...

Ok. We all know the exact scene that gives this episode a 10. It is mind blowing because it happens so fast. But it lets you hanging for long seconds. Long enough to actually think "Ok, so this is the second to last episode, it is a brittish show after all, so maybe this is it, this is the end for Alyssa and James and the end of the f***ing world as we know it". So when it goes back to reality, first thing you think is "oh thank God", but on the other hand, that was the perfect ending for the show and they blew it...

And don't get me wrong, I'd love to see 5 more seasons. But to be honest, I doubt they'll give a better finale than that.

Great idea, terrible development
24 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
What it could have been the best episode of the season ended up being the worst. I think it had the worst editing in this Netflix/Marvel universe. I was thrown off a lot of times. Because the flashbacks are not even use in a clever way. What a shame for the last season of The Punisher on Netflix. Appart from that. It had kind of good fight scenes.

Cary Fukunaga is my favorite Showrunner
1 October 2018
Cary Joji Fukunaga excels at television. Yet another masterpiece.

Emma Stone is stunning and Jonah Jill at his best. Justin Theroux completes the amazing actings.

I won't say anything about the plot. It's up to you to do it and like it or not.

The one comedian who doesn't rely on sex jokes
2 September 2018
Demitri Martin is a talented comedian, no argue about that. His strong side is making intelligent observations about life, Wich doesn't always have a big response on people. I mean, I did laugh several times during The Overthinker, but most of my appreciation comes by the good points he makes. As I said on the title, he doesn't make sex jokes, and I appreciate that, cause his jokes are mostly family friendly, and that's very rare on comedians...

Horace and Pete: Episode #1.3 (2016)
Season 1, Episode 3
One of the best talks on screen you'll ever see
5 July 2018
I don't often review shows or movies, let alone episodes, but this one was one of the best 40 minutes I've watched. I know I know, 2 years later, but just now I'm watching H&P, and I think this is the best episode this show will have. We know Louis isn't a good actor, but somehow he achieved here his best performance ever. But truly the very best of this ep was Laurie Metcalf, with what is probably the best female perfomance I've seen on TV. To be hoest I wasn't happy about her winning the Oscar for Lady Bird, but after this, I think she deserves 5 more!!! A shame what Louis did, because that killed his career, and he was a genious...

First half a solid 8, second half a 1
13 January 2018
Warning: Spoilers
It was so excited to watch the development, this was going great. Then, out of the blue, Sudeikis' character takes an unecessary turn and becomes evil. Just because he got jeleaous when he was a child is enough for him to become evil? Am I supposed to care for Anne's character? She's the messy and alcoholic one. She's in no way the good one on this movie. This suddenly became a very feminist story. F*ck you Hollywood. Overall, this mess is a straight 1.

Heroes all over again
29 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I'm just going to say, this episode had the vibe of Heroes, but I mean the vibe that got killed the TV Series... please don't that again, Duffer brothers!

This TV Series is amazing because of how it deals with the supernatural... that whole 8 thing was just cliché and awful.

Game of Thrones: The Winds of Winter (2016)
Season 6, Episode 10
This is the true King in the North, the best episode so far...
27 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Ozymandias is still the best I have watched. No other episode has brought me so many orgasms. It was a roller-coaster all the way. For a TvSeries to overthrow Breaking Bad as my favorite show, it has to be nearly perfect. Game of Thrones is approaching very near.

Last episode, Battle Of The Bastards, I think was very predictable, and it doesn't deserve the perfect 10 it currently has on IMDb. The cinematography was the best I have seen on TV, yet the story wasn't that good.

But The Winds Of Winter... my god! It's the best hour on GoT, and my personal 2nd best hour watching TV. It was so satisfying watching the Septon burns. And then Jaime feeling disgusted by Walder Frey. And then the Tower of Joy. And then awesome Arya. And then the King in the North. And then Queen Cercei... This was the perfect episode.

Some may say the season was slow, nothing happened. But what did happen was plain amazing. Can't wait for The Winds Of Winter and for Season 7.

Castle: Crossfire (2016)
Season 8, Episode 22
Yet another Show ruined by Hollywood...
17 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I want to share this so you can understand me better: I've been using this site for almost 6 years now. 1143 current titles on my Watchlist. 4003 ratings until today (1462 feature films and 2180 episodes, I only rate episodes above 9 or all of my favorite Series). I have watched 63 complete TV Series, stopped watching 7 (I counted them because they add 440 episodes to the list), and currently I'm watching 36. And then there's Castle...

For no reason I consider Castle in the Olympus of the TV Series, not even close. But this show had some spark it made me watched it all along the way.

Yes, typical Cop Show, resolving a murder every episode. But since the beginning they had charisma, they had 2 great lead actors: The always funny and charming Nathan Fillion and the beautiful and always sexy Stana Katic. They were everything on this show. Their chemistry as a couple is the best I have seen on screen.

It's a shame how in the last years that relationship ended (Stana wasn't returning for a possible 9th Season, yet they wanted to go on... dead mistake), and we viewers got to see every time less and less Caskett. For me it was when Beckett left to the FBI. After that it just wasn't the same.

Anyway, I want to thanks Andrew W. Marlowe for creating this Series. And the same time I want to cursed him for doing what Hollywood does best: Prolonging something until is complete garbage, and then canceling at the last minute without a proper ending.

If they had finished this show a couple of years ago, that chemistry would have been intact through the entire show. Way to go Hollywood! Just don't remake this in 20 years, please...

There's nothing left but to add this Finale to the worst I've watched, Castle to my guilty Series pleasures, and Richard Castle and Kate Beckett as the best foreplay/relationship always.
