Mistress Hunter (2018)
This One Was Really Good
I watch a lot of Lifetime movies and this one was definitely one of the best. I think any woman who's ever been cheated on can relate to it, for one thing. The best thing about it, though, is the Mistress Hunter herself, Hannah. She is very unique and entertaining. The actress was phenomenal in the role. This movie really held my interest all the way through. Very well done.
Dying to Marry Him (2021)
Bad Acting
This movie would have been average at best, but the acting was so atrocious, especially that of the male lead, that it took it quickly to sub-par. Because of the bad acting, many of the scenes that were supposed to be serious were comical such as the exaggerated expressions of the villain, Amy, and the totally unimpressive ER doc. Thriller, no. Comedy, kind of. Worth your time, not really.
For Life (2020)
Superb in all respects
I loved Season 1 and am equally in love with Season 2. Yes, it's political, but I'm not getting any white people disrespect. The subject matter is real, and I don't get the idea that all cops are bad, just that some are, just like any other group of people. Nicholas Pinnock Is incredible as Aaron Wallace. He could star in a show about cleaning the bathroom and I'd watch. He was definitely perfect for this role! 50 Cent scored a million bucks on this one! I look forward to many more seasons.
Deadly Expose (2017)
Inconsistent killer
The eyes behind the mask were clearly blue at the beginning, and I would've sworn it was the ex-husband. Then when that theory bit the dust, the eyes behind the mask changed. I found that very obvious. Also, the overall acting wasn't very believable. I've seen far better LT movies. Sad, too, because it could have had good potential.
Star Trek Continues (2013)
Does TOS proud!
I just finished watching the whole series for a second time (and Episode 3 numerous times) and I'm just blown away by how good this is and what an amazing tribute it is to TOS. The sets, the costumes, the sounds, the special effects, EVERYTHING is just amazing!! The actors really, really give the characters renewed life, and I felt like I was watching Star Trek brand new again. Leonard Nimoy is my favorite TV actor of all time because of Spock, and Todd Haberkorn stepped into his shoes and made a wonderful impression. Everybody did an amazing job! And there really aren't enough words to praise Vic for everything he did to make this happen. If I could give it more than 10 stars, I would. BRAVO!!
Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector (2020)
Hang in there - it gets better
At first I could take it or leave it, but what hooked me was the actor who plays the bone collector. He's quite good at it. Then the show REALLY picks up in the last 4 episodes or so. By then, you do get to know and care about the characters. Please hang in there. It definitely does get good!
