Summer of 84 (2018)
Even serial killers live next door to somebody!
This was a random movie pick for tonight of the new thrillers this year & boy did I pick the right one!
It's one of those movies that will make you keep thinking about it even after you have finished it.
The classic very rarely used serial killer next door theme, which has only been tried out and tested a handful of times and achieved success. However, this movie hits the bullseye.
Kinda takes you on a nostalgic trip if ya were into mysteries and thrillers as a kid. Shortly summed up it's about the cat and mouse game between the next door serial killer and a teen relentlessly trying to prove his point of being right about the guy.
Thoroughly enjoyable for a serial killer/slasher movie and for a weekend movie night.
Ghoul (2018)
It's horror and a thriller!
Binge watched this brand new mini series in the morning. It's fresh and new in the horror genre than the usual trash we get these days.
Starts off slow and picks up the pace and a unexpected speed. With just 3 episodes it still kept me engrossed and guessing what's next.
Radhika apte sure knows how to pick her roles. Brilliantly played. It's all mindgames with the devil in a hellhole and quite a step forward. A creepy supernatural thriller which will leave you wanting for more and hoping there is a second season in the works!

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016)
The final chapter!?
I am back!!!! Resident Evil: The Final Chapter I have heard much mixed reviews and reactions to this final installment of this much popular movie series "Resident evil". Still went ahead and watched it as I always loved the movies no matter what and being a die-hard Milla Jovovich fan! She is the living presence of these movies as she single handedly carried all the movies in the series on her shoulders and it goes the same for this one. It's a high octane action movie right from the start and though a couple of predictable scenes, keeps the ride going throughout the movie with amazingly choreographed stunt sequences and massive stuff blowing up scenes and badass fights.
If you are a Milla jovovich fan you will love it. If you are a fan of the movie series, you will enjoy it! Safe to say, ignore the reviews and ratings and all the bullshit being said about this one. Its a one time watch but definitely enjoyable and a much fitting final and makes sure not to leave any loose ends hanging! Milla jovovich fans can rejoice! #reviewmode #residentevil #thefinalchapter #ormaybenot #millajovovich #sheisstillabadass #Badass #signingoff
Fast & Furious 7 (2015)
Ride or die! A paul walker tribute :)
Watched this today at Imax in a full house crowd. Fnf7 takes action to the next level from fnf6, a notch higher. Keeps your adrenaline pumping for more action as the movie goes on. And oh the fight sequences are insane in this one! The action and storyline are fast paced and the cars are meaner, faster & sick! Ronda rousey & Tony jha even though in special appearances, do pack a punch!
Paul walker who is missed badly, shows up one last time as brian o conner and lives up to the role once again. The farewell is fitting and tears will fill your eyes. A roller-coaster ride, an action packed feast and an emotional farewall. I give this a 9/10, and RIP paul walker a.k.a brian o conner you are truly a hero and missed by millions :). Signing off - #baddie
