Probably the worst one in the series in my opinion.

All because of the characterization of "Gracie" by Hayley. The movie's lion share goes like this, Ethan rescues gracie, she escapes, he rescues her again, she escapes, again and again till the climax. At some point I got so frustrated that I almost forgot this movie has a mission. Plus its a part one hence the climax havent completed the story yet. Some of the fights are good but not upto the previous ones, Especially the train-bridge collapse escape, with after 5 minutes it was boring. Also the character gracie is a mastermind in pickpocketing and picking locks, in all the movie , she just simply escapes by picking lock however at the end in the train she just cant open a locked door hence goes for otherway around.

Adding to this she being the reason for the death of IIsa , just after 1 minute of sad face the team quickly forgets that and started throwing quircky and funny punch dialogues which felt very inappropriate after all of those emotional scene by Ethan Lets wait for the part 2 however I dont have much hope in story and screenplay From this I can say good to bad films as per my view below.

Unpopular Opinion - John Wick 4 is a below average movie.

I loved all 3 John wick movies, but this one is more likely a conclusion of John wick series, So the fight scenes are boring and repetitive. Previous movies had different types of action and stunt choreographies. This one has long same fights , might be in different locations.

As far Keanu goes, his close up shots or his face doesnt appear in the movie atleast for a half time. John wick past movies had few dialogues but it had an impact, 4 has same few dialogues but it was very plain and flat.

Ending is Spoiler - John Wick Dies (or not) shown in a way that if there is a possibility of a sequel , there can be.

May stunts shots and its accuracy is totally gone, we can clearly see that where the gun is aimed and it just went like a paper plane. Even with the so-called Coat Armour, some pistol shots were directly aimed at Head / Leg which was again repelled with the armor which is in the shoulder.

The sad thing is this is the same with Balayya movies, but when it directed and taken in Hollywood people go crazy!

An average movie 6/10.

Thunivu

Let me come to the good things first No Lag - H Vinoth wrote and directed the movie without any lag, no emotional drama, no romantic songs, cringe love only swag, action and thrilling scenes.

Crafting of AK's Role - literally in these last years, I have seen the best swag/stylish role of AK. His dance, expressions and dialogues are different in this.

Importance to side actors - in the world of sidelining the female lead and giving some cringe dialogues only to satisfy the hero's romanctic needs, Manju Warrier with perfect attire, action and acting gave a strong comeback. Its good that Manju varrier's role doesnt specify whether she is a lover/partner/sister to AK. Simply mysterious like the gang

Samuthirakani, Parani Reddy, Bhagavathi, Shankar - all got exceptional roles and they did well, espcially Mohana Sundaram as Mai Pa - rocked in this. John Kokken as a villain - the charector doesnt satisfy as a brutal negetive villain but a normal business owner.

First half goes with the heist, gives audience too many confusing moments like - motive, what is the actual heist, who is AK and so on Second half satisfiyes the twists from first half and it was more entertaining than first half, especially the intorragation scenes with John Kokken.

Coming to the bad things about this movie the art of location - the bank interior seems artificial to the indian banks, Eventhough bank says "heritage building" and we can see the similar structure in SBI Beach road branch, if it was more realistic it was an add on

Songs - eventhough with less songs all songs went average

Logical mistages - there are many.

Climax - felt like they shot the climax in a hurry, didnt felt satisfied.

But overall compared to Vinoth's previous flick, and Ajith's previous flicks Thunivu is better. And Happy to see the comeback.

Gandhada Gudi (2022)

A hero is like water ! Its eternal

Gandhada Gudi is the first documentary which I watched in theatres, and I feel perfectly happy.

Directed by Amoghavarsha a wildlife photographer, GG is a journey through all terrains of Karnataka, from dry forests through rain forests and parallelly with the coastal areas ending in Decan landscapes.

Visuals and Music is stunning, Amoghavarsha captured the best shots and sceneries of unseen Karnataka wildlife Yes ! It is the last movie which we can see with Puneeth, since its not a movie, but his real footage, we can get to know him as a human for the first and last time.

GG with puneeth is fascinating, his experience, stories and his personality will prove he is not just a hero but an eternal hero.

I am amazed that house Amoghavarsha can take a documentary more entertaining than a movie itself. Its like a Indian David Attenberough movie.

More over , Huge respect to the GG team that they didnt put Puneeth's demise as a promoting factor for this movie, the movie ends without a farewell note , which is exactly the world needed.

Its informative for all ages , because it explains the nature, diversity of animals in the karnataka forests. It also promotes forest conservation, plastic ban and mainly to respect the nature.

Choosing puneeth as a co-companion for Amoghavarsha's journey was the best choice, the puneeth which we see in GG is just a normal human without the title of Powerstar.

The scripting is invoking, there are many short poems which deeply touches the heart.

Today is the first death anniversary of Puneeth As the quote in GG by Amoghavarsha "Now i got to know why Puneeth is true Hero, because A hero is like the water, its eternal" A perfect 10 out of 10, and happy to watch this in theatres.

To all, dont miss this in theatre.

Kantara (2022)

What a creation !

Happened to Watch Kantara (Forest), in a jampacked houseful show. Weekend was a red zone for this movie beating PS1, and Vikram Vedha in Bangalore. I had to travel 16 KM to HSR Thirumala. But all efforts were worth !

Kantara is absolutely breath taking, I some how liked more than KGF. Its a next venture of Homable films after KGF chapter 2

Kantara is an epitome of how Rishab Shetty as an Actor, DIrector and Writer finds his place is the same film. I always admired Rishab shetty for his excellent story creation and direction, From Kirik Party, Kasargodu Shaale and as an Actor in many.

Starting with the story, Kantara is a fight between good and evil, sometimes the god, sometimes the people of the forest. Eventually at the end, the god wins always, it is crafted with a touch of Boota Kola a worship from Tulu nadu - Malanadu and Northern Kerala. It resembles the Theyyam art as well. Just like the demographic picturization , kantara shot in Dakshin Karnataka forest area, the crew made an intense research on Art, Music and folklore in Kundapura to all the way Kasargod. Hence the location, Cinematography, Art all were treat for the eye.

Acting cannot be ruled out, Rishab as a main lead was excellent, Kishore did his career best role. Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, Swaraj Shetty - all were perfect cast.

Another best thing about this movie is the music , its a mixture of folklore - jaanapada a form of folk song , ajaneesh loknath is the music director. Some of the songs will give us the goosebumps.

In all words, Kantara is a story of Uprising of a Forest against its exploiters. The movie, especially the climax is an Adrenaline Rush !

Well made! 9/10.

Cobra (2022)

boring, irritating and below average

Happened to watch much awaited Cobra Exteremly disappointed seeing the pathetic take. Chiyaan's obessession - as we can say "multiple get ups" only worked out in Anniyan, from that movie till this , he only put effort in getting into costumes.

The movie lags like anything, it doesnt have a decent stunt, unnecessory romance, songs, I was amazed to see the extremly low quality of vfx, it felt like some kid used MS paint to add vfx into the movie.

Story is clieched, unbearable acting of Srinidhi Shetty, Mrinalini Ravi, Meenakshi Govindarajan. I felt too irritated witnessing their clieched dialogues and over acting

Not sure why Irfan Pathan acted as a sub hero role but he did his role well

There are many roles which felt completely unnecessory Mamukkoya, Robo Shankar, Anand Raj etc

AR Rahman's music is below average,

Roshan Mathew as a villain is a failed attempt.

More over the 20 minutes cut, they did it in the climax portion, which was again a blunder. The story itself made up like "If we prove the story is complicated, then it will run" too many dimensions ruined the story .

On the whole , not even worth watching for OTT (coming in Sony live)

The Legend (2022)

Legend is a below average flick, which is totally unbearable due to its duration - 3 hours and 7 songs, the songs which are totally boring killed the movie because it stole around 1 hour in the movie itself The story is clichéd as Sivaji - you can guess what is the story. It got Nasser, Prabhu and Vivek as main star cast, Vivek's Voice seems like artificially created due to his absence, Saravanan on the whole comes with the pale face with no emotion , stays the same from start to end in the movie.

If there was no songs, it would ve been atleast watchable in ott, but with 165 minutes of run time, it is a low graded flick.

Pitruoon is a masterpiece by none other than Nithish Bharadwaj, Excellent performance of Sachin Khadekar its based on Runa - a kannada story by Sudha Murthy.

The film revolves around a famous archeologists meets his look alike and he investigates the roots of both.

A must watch for movie lovers in Prime.

Booter Bhabishyat is a funny - entertaining bengali movie. It revolves around a historic old building and the ghosts living inside - trying to protect it from demolishing.

Ghosts are from different background hence their attittude also differs. Totally a good watch in Prime.

2.30 movie, in that 2 hours villain torturing prithviraj, last 30 minutes is the revenge, and is it a good revenge ?

No! Hero makes a move by suspending the villain and a fight will end the movie, thats all !

All it has a long duration of slow motion in every scenes and dialogues.

Prithviraj has the same acting mannerism as always, tone, dialogue delivery, looks everything is the same in all his movies, only screen presence for a cast in this movie is vivek obroei,

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

One of the worst movies of Marvel so far, It cannot be called as a Super Hero movie, but a comedy movie.

This movie - from start to end only has comedy-lame joke scenes , nothing serious.

Also the story plot - while comparing to DC, marvel stories sucks totally, it doesnt got any back borne as it fluctuates in every movie,

In this, a human can become thor by just holding the hammer and thor can give his powers to 100 children, and they finishes off the villain at last.

CBI 5: The Brain (2022)

First of all CBI series itself an average, it got watchable due to its making and acting. But story is below average for all CBI films , CBI 5 doesnt live upto the basic standards, the story especially climax were too boring , with a run time of 2 hours 45 min , the film is dragging

CBI 5 major draw back is casting Soubin, i loved his other roles but he was too bad in CBI 5 , his dialogues, acting everything felt too stupid.

Innale Vare (2022)

We have seen similar stories from Sathyam , satham podathe etc , there is nothing new as well as taken very badly.

Nimisha sajayan acted terribly like her old movies, with an expression with same pale face from start to end its irritating to see her , it wouldve been better if some other actress did the role.

This is movie is watchable on ott that too in fast forward manner.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920)

neat horror thriller from that time

This makes a milestone in my film viewership as the oldest movie I have watched so far. Released in 1920 , a silent german horror movie.

The film and music is restored hence can be easily viewed.

The sets were made out of paper, with the shadows painted on the walls. The focus is dark and blurry yet a neat horror thriller from that time !

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022)

Unbearable weight of Massive Talent is a hilarious action ride , its entertaining and Nicolas cage as Nick cage totally rocked the role.

Vikram (2022)

Saw Vikram yesterday

Its a good movie with edge of the seat entertainment.

However I must say Kaithi remains the best of Lokesh Kanagaraj,

Vikram can be titled as Fahad fasil in Vikram, because most of the time the story revolves around Fahad fasil, Kamal hassan has lesser screen time even below Chemban Vinod

Story is neatly written and excecated, it got lot of grip in Interval , Climax scenes, Cinematography is excellent as well as costume selection, Kamal hassan had best costumes which makes him fit and neat.

Sentiments portions, Songs were lagging phase.

Fahad fasil, Chemban vinod and all other supporting casts acted very well. Vijay sethupathi became a clichéd villain hence didnt felt like a good act.

There were some scenes which makes the audience stupid like Why kamal had to act as a bad guy infront of Kalidas' wife, Vijay sethupathi's family history (not sure why it was added), Vasanthi (agent Tina's) fight scene - she was asking to call kamal many times where she couldve called in first place,

It took 10 minutes where they said regarding 3 km to reach at the end but fahad fasil managed to save the kid and appear from nowhere at the end within seconds.

Surya's villain role went well but the motive remains clichéd, just to show he is the main villain the usual villain gimmick called "kill the gang member who brought the bad news" is applied.

Like these there are many flaws and dumb scenes, however for a flick which entertains us, Vikram is enough.

This movie got a long run time around 2 hours and 50 minutes, hence we can feel that at the end many scenes were cut short.

If a regular movie buff who watched Better call saul, nobody, accountant, Dark night - can make out many scenes literally copied from those

Bottom line - a good watch in 2022 Its coming in hotstar incase if you miss it in theatre.

Uncharted (2022)

If you are an unchartered fan, better to forget this movie

Being an Unchartered Game hardcore fan, I always waited for the movie. I have played thief's end and whole 1-3 & lost legacy nearly 5-6 times.

Nathan drake , Sully & Sam is totally in our heart, Exploring, the game views, puzzles and historical adventures.

But Tom Holland's Unchartered completely destroyed the expectation, it is not even a one time watchable.

We had National treasure which was thrilling and entertaining.

Ruben fleischer as a director is a letdown in this, Zombieland, Venom was bearable Problem with unchartered is Tom holland's is an overrated actor, he doesnt even fit to be Nathan Drake, and unchartered is all about exploring the unexplored land, viewing its beauty, this movie doesnt have any scenes like that, it just a hit and run heist movie.

Mark wahlberg at least did some good thing, but Story, acting, casting it totally pathetic.

If you are an unchartered fan, better to forget this movie.

The King (I) (2019)

Excellent Casting, Acting, Dialogues and Direction.

The king portrays King Henry V's Emerging time, even though he lived short, certain events led him to be the greatest of ever. Thimothee Chalamet totally made the role perfectly reflected.

Along with him Robert Pattinson, Joel Edgerton -- did wonders.

With small historic inaccuracies, this movie is one the best watch in Netflix.

The Kashmir Files (2022)

Saw Kashmir Files yesterday,

There are many things touched my heart through this movie, when I entered the multiplex, I saw jampacked audience waiting for the movie, which I seen only for super-star movies.

Most of the audience were elderly , above 60 +, I saw a very old man in wheel chair who was watching from wheel chair friendly area

When it comes to movie, first of all I admire the guts of Vivek Agnihotri for taking this movie, unlike all movies which as the starting section as "this story is nowhere related to living or dead personal - anything like these are coincidental" from the usual acknowledgment to "this movie is taken based on real life interviews and reports" is the main highlight.

Compared to Taskent files, or Buddha in a traffic jam, this movie is emotionally attached to a larger community. The scenes, interviews, dialogues mostly taken from real interviews and reports.

As the story goes for an Apologetic pandit to Unapologetic pandit - the sequence will go back to 1990's to present day. Some of the scenes especially Anupam Kher's acting is Steller. The scene where he licks the biscuit in poverty - gave me tears

Along with supporting roles from Mithun chakrabarty, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar, Prakash Belawadi, Puneet Issar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Bhasha SUmbli - were excellent !

I am not explaining anything regarding the story because its best to be seen from theatres.

There are some flaws in direction and acting (basic supporting casts) - especially shooting at the end

but on the whole - along with the rest of the audience, i saw tears, and whispers from highly likely pandits - scattered and survived while getting out of theatres,

for the plot, yes, its a once in lifetime that someone who has guts to openly take this subject without any alterations. I still remember watching "Shikara" of vidhu vinod chopra who made the entire exodus plot as a romantic - apologetic thread.

This movie does not end like a normal movie, it does not provide any conclusion of the stories, of aftermath from revelations,

it just serves the purpose - show the brutality of exodus. Some may think why we are beating around the history to provoke or poke the wound - but fake narratives outlived in this habitat for long

We have seen Jodha Akbar, Haider and many - which may excel in movie making but as a historic continuity - a failure.

"Raliv Galiv ya Chaliv" the provoking slogan came from the mosque in the dawn of exodus - Convert / die or leave Kashmir - the movie makes the aftermath of this slogan into the perspective of those who were forgotten the movie revolves around many impactful dialogues !

Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana

A precious take ! First of all Kudos to Raj B Shetty for directing, writing and acting in this. Its not a normal gang war crime movie, it flows into Friendship, Betrayal, Characters of the 2 Main protagonists - Shiva and Hari.

Music and BGM is awesome and thrilling It doesnt glorify the 2 main leads as Hero's but portray them as villains. We dont feel sympathy to their actions but we feel for their bond & history.

Well acted, written, directed movie.

Parmvah Studios is a science lab which makes explosive flicks like these. Hope to see more thrilling films.

No Time to Die (2021)

Worst to End bond

Excited alot before watching No Time To DIe It is said to be the last bond film of Daniel Craig. I dont really liked Daniel Craig as Bond because since his movies started, it went towards a Mission Impossible Clieched movies.

Except Skyfall. The director destroyed the movie as much he was able to. Cary Joji is an amature director who shouldnt be given the opportunity to take Bond movie, his past movies like Beast of No Nation , Jan Eyre is more like a documentary.

Adding on to that, we are seeing the woke- culture of "Why cant we" ? Question raised in every aspects of life.

Hence the idea of Female Bond came, first of all its not necessary to find equaling justification of Gender , Age, in every thing in the world.

Bond is a man and its beautiful like that, We have Suparman & Superwomen, Bat man and Bat women, that time the wokeism havent existed then also it filled wherever it needs to be.

We cannot cry and take the "why cant we" in all entertainment media. Soon we will see a Female tom and Female Gerry, Female Mr Bean, Female Dinosaurs (god knows how to find the gender of it by looking at) , Female Godzilla ?

Anyways, out of all these aspects , the Lady who acted as 007 Lashana lynch is totally destroyed the movie with her emotionless face and pathetic acting. It was heartbreaking to see a Bond charector dies in a movie, and more heartbreaking to see a below average actress taking over the role. Atleast they couldve shown some more serious actress to justifiy the Bond.

She lacks the elegance, walking style, dialogue delivery of Bond and she just sided in like a very side cast.

The story is pretty clieched like all other movies A villain who wants to destroy the world A prime laboratory and villains den where he stores all information A timebomb before climax Threatening and kidnapping hero's family members Pathetic joke scene in middle of a serious fight

These destroyed the movie

Fights, Car chase etc were good.

ANyways, if Lashana lynch is the designated Bond in upcoming movies, this is my last bond movie.

Dune is a visual treat - but failed as an entertainer

From the director of Prisoners, Sicario, Arrival and Blade Runner 2049 Denis Villeneuve brought a visual treat with amazing VFX and locations.

Dune is a mixture of Blade Runner, Mad Max.

From the beginning it will tie us to the dry and vast sand world. But the story goes slowly with minimum action, less entertaining scenes and a terribly taken climax which wont satisfy revenge or completion. It is said to have another part making. If thats true , need to watch the second part to enjoy the movie fully, otherwise it is a garbage.

I Liked : VFX, Locations, Cinematography, BGM I hated : Screenplay, Climax.

House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths (2021)

Do not watch it !

Due to the severity of incidents and its reason will haunt us. I became too much disturbed after watching this 3 Episode Mystery series.

This is related to the Burari Deaths which occurred in Delhi 2018, 11 Mass Suicide due to Shared psychosis.

Its Bone chilling as well as disturbing to the core. If you are watching it on a pleasant day , it will ruin the day.

Highly proclaimed actor Prithviraj became totally a kid infront of Nithin, Mamta acted terribly , Tamanna scored better

Direction also poor Happy to see jagadeesh after a long thats the only one good thing.
