Exciting!

I'm so thankful when the stories are told with a visal narrative that complements the entire historic arc, from the first episode, it sets the tone for really rich characters, a very likeable protagonist and a well done end for and ongoing story of the life of Bob Pop.

I'm so grateful for this!

As a mexican LGBTQ+ member in my early thirties, I've known this story ever since I can remember, and to see it portrayed on the big screen, with such quality production, with a compelling narrative, and that can make straight people understand a little bit of our brotherhood excites me a LOT!

I'm so thankful that Director David Pablos took a chance to make this film, and to make such relevant characters, the main arch is so powerful, I have to confess the female characters surprised me for good, Amada en Luz are so relatable Mexican women, and the secondary characters from the "Club" gave so much depth to the story.

I hope this film will remember everyone why is important to keep fighting for our rights, our right to be a normal person within society.

Finally a well made show, with interesting and modern characters

First of all, being from Oaxaca was my main hook to watch this show, but boy, I had a nice surprise, the girls were really good, their acting very natural (Tessa and Bárbara), and maybe the rest of the cast wasn't that good, however, the entire trip was a rollercoaster that portrayed a good reality of most mexican women, hopefully Netflix will make another season if needed.

As a Mexican, as a human, go watch it at the cinema!

Cecilia Suarez as I already knew is one very talented actress, and in this movie she has the opportunity to showcase her underrated talent, besides she looks GORGEOUS thorough the movie, like a golden age Hollywood actress. Her work is so organic that you believe that Elvira's struggle is real, and wish you could help her.

Her character, Elvira is a woman with two kinds and a husband that lefts her, and now, her life is gonna change forever, having to deal with money, children and a big city. This movie shows how women support each other in life, and that one has to reinvent themselves when life doesn't go as planned, and sometimes this changes makes you realize how strong you can be. The movie has a dark them portrayed in a funny way, thanks to the cast, you can laugh at really bad situations, since it has a lot of Mexican humor. Pay attention to the guest appearances by other actors. This movie is a must see, portraits really well the medium class of the Mexican society, and how we can laugh our problems off.

Well, I knew nothing about the book or the movie until all of the sudden the trailer gets released, so I watched and I was hooked, I cried like a baby just with the trailer, so I went on and got the book, read it, and loved it... but I was waiting for the movie.

I went to the movie with my best friend because I knew I was gonna cry, and so I did, I think I cried the entire movie, Shailene and Ansel have an awesome chemistry on screen, they make you feel like you know them, and so you love and grieve with them.

I really hope she gets some award recognition and Ansel keeps doing fantastic movies, he's a charm.
