Grrrinchiously Great
4 January 2012
This is the first Jim Carrey movie i've ever seen on DVD actually, I never got to see in it in the theaters because the day it came out, our friends took us to see 102 Dalmations instead.

Now I have nothing against Glenn Close (who was a superb Cruella) but I felt kind of bummed out about missing out on this one.

So the day it came out on video and DVD, I went on over to the local music/video store and I bought it.

Since then, I have enjoyed watching the movie and enjoying it for what it is, which is an underrated holiday movie with very good set designs, makeup and special effects.

If you like Jim Carrey, you should watch this along with the Mask, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, Cable Guy, Ace Ventura, and Man On The Moon.

A Wacky Horror Comedy From Start To Finish
4 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Hi there, Monstermaster13 here with a review. This review is for Nothing But Trouble - and underrated gem of a movie that came out into the early 90's.

Apparently loosely based on a true story, the movie stars Dan Akyroyd (it's also directed by him as well), Chevy Chase, Demi Moore and the always great and (it pains me to say this) late John Candy.

Chevy Chase and Demi Moore play a couple who end up in the town of Valkanvania after having a run in with the police, and the end up at the judge's house where they meet the crazy J.P Valkanheiser and Bobo and Lil Debul as well as the police cop's sister Eldona (also played by John Candy).

The judges house is filled with all sorts of kooky mechanical devices, and all sorts of hijinks insue in this.

A lot of critics tend to bash this one on the grounds of it's plot, but it's supposed to be weird because it's a black comedy and it doesn't have to make sense for you to enjoy it.

I heavily recommend watching this movie.

Awesome

Warning: Spoilers
I'm a big fan of That Guy With The Glassess, and this was one kick-ass special, I enjoyed every minute of it and the story was very well written.

I loved the scenes with Spoony, Linkara and Cinema Snob as well as (now there's going to be some spoilers here) the transformation of Spoony into his Insano persona which was epic.

The whole thing was awesome from start to finish and I would watch it more than once because it is that awesome.

I recommend going onto thatguywiththeglassess.com and checking it out for yourself.

A Miser Brothers Holiday treat
25 August 2011
I have got this movie on DVD and to be honest it's not really half-bad, it's actually quite cute and charming.

I hear a lot of people on here complaining about the new character designs and voices but I really don't see a problem with it at all, it's actually a pretty fun Christmas special.

Heat Miser and Snow Miser are a lot of fun to watch and to see them fight is just hilarious, also I like the new additions like North Wind (who reminds me a bit of Leno in someway, must be the chin).

The story is a very nice story and without giving too much away, I can honestly say that this is the nicest Christmas special I have had the pleasure of watching.

If you're looking for something for the kids to watch this holiday show them this movie, you will not be disappointed.
