Educational & Entertaining
18 March 2019
This is a good movie for children & family. It gives a brief glimpse of the life of American artist Mary Cassatt: who she was, what she did, and some of her works were present in the film. This is from the HBO Family series in the 90s called The Artists' Special, meant to teach children of famous painters through the eyes of children. Having to watched this film a few times as a kid, I would definitely recommend this for young students. It would help introduce kids to the importance of art and cassatt's impact in art history.

A "Modernized" Version
6 February 2017
A live-action Nelvana production back in the 90s, this was the second TV adaptation made of the book series. It seems like it attempted to modernize the series by not only giving it the products of the 1990s but also the boys are changed to young adults living in the big city. Because it was in a half-hour format, the mystery of the day were not too tricky. Despite its short time, and occasional slow moments, this version is enjoyable for fans of the series. I may add that there are two crossover episodes with its companion series, Nancy Drew. Recommend watching few episodes online for those who are curious of this underrated gem.

Quick Zombie Flick
14 January 2017
I watched this movie out of curiosity, and had low expectations. In the end, it was somewhat better than I'd thought it would be. It was made on a low-budget, so I am forgiving about certain scenes. But it was straight forward, right to the action scenes with the zombie epidemic. My only true complaint was that the beginning could be a little slow, after the first 10 minutes it gets better. Other than that, the animation can be a little cheesy, acting is okay, and the plot is on point. Overall, it was a movie about zombies that got right on point. It's not a masterpiece by all means, but a quick digestible action flick, just don't be too picky.

Mediocre cult classic
4 March 2016
When I first saw this film, I thought it was okay. After a couple of of more watches, my mind is still the same. Could it be better? Yes. Is it that bad as most say? No, I don't think so. In fact, half of me felt attach to this film more than Disney. Yeah, some of the animation is cheesy, only 2 out of the 4 songs on here are memorable, but it is good. I like the somewhat "dark" atmosphere that was put up near the end, brings such suspense. I also did like how this Snow White, in terms of appearance and character. She is both an action girl while having a soft quality to her still. At most, this is a film that is a family movie, not meant to be taken too seriously, but very enjoyable for kids and adults. Give it a try.

Best Show of 2014
14 July 2015
The show follows an immortal who teams up with the police in solving murder cases, at the same time, someone else knows Henry's secret and is willing to exploit it to the public. While it may, at first, seem like a typical police/detective drama, the show then draws into more personal impacts in has on the "philosophical" ideas of life. The subplots are also of how we get to see into certain past events of Henry, understanding how he came to be. I actually find this series very entertaining and the most-addicting for me. For sure I recommend this to any newcomers to try it out. Here's to also hoping that in the near future the show comes back hopefully.
