I felt an instant affinity with the female lead character (Lisa). I too, was suicidal at age 17 and wrote a note similar. My experience as a complex trauma survivor in many ways parallels this young woman. The actress did a stellar job at portraying the dissociation and distress of repeat sexual trauma that is common among survivors. (Or those with complex ptsd at least).
