This is another movie that is quoted so many times. Sad part is many people haven't seen it and still quote it. Gene Wilder is at his best. I have to pause while typing because I start to laugh just thinking about it. The mixture of a nice visual humor, sarcasm, and dry humor that is as dry as the Sahara Desert. The cast is outstanding. It is so good that my kids enjoy the film as well. It is hard to believe that this movie has been around as long as it has. This movie could be released to the theaters this weekend and pack the house for great laughs. This is a must see film if you like comedy and want to see some of the masters at their best.

Classic a Must See

This movie might contain more lines and scenes in it that are relived and used by more people than any other movie ever made. Growing up I am thankful to an older cousin that introduced me to this film. I can still remember the first time and the 100 time I saw this film. Being able to relive some of the best scenes and lines that were ever created. My 10 year old boys just watched this movies and it was laugh out loud fun. We all needed tissues to wipe away the tears of joy this film produces. To hear my boys saying lines to this movie just warmed my heart. This was my first exposure to Monty Python and it is my favorite. I am saddened when I hear a line from the movie and guys at the fire station don't recognize it and look lost. There is a generation that missed out. Don't worry I bring in the DVD next shift to share the pure awesomeness of this cult comedy classic. This film might not be for everyone. But those that it's not. Those are the ones that worry me and make me feel uneasy.

This is an unbelievable film. I don't know how to put into words this movie. I will give it a try. The performances from the entire cast touched me. Aamir Khan just might be the most talented actor on the planet. I am new to Indian films but I am watching them as fast as I can because of films like this. I had to stop the DVD player a couple of time to collect myself. The film spoke to my inner self and touched my soul. It made me have faith in humanity and see how just a little understanding can go a long way. I got very emotional watching the performances in the film. The cast was awesome. I wanted to go into the film and place my arms around Ishaan and give him a big hug. The world would be a better place if people took the time to watch this film and apply it to life. I know that I try to every day. The beauty of this film is in its simple yet powerful story and how well it is directed and acted out for you to enjoy. Highly recommend. Also highly recommend some tissues. I hope you will enjoy this film as much as I did and hope it touches your heart the same way it did mine.

Best French Film I have seen

This is a great movie. I was not looking forward to watching it thinking it was another boring French film. I fell in love with this movie and have watched it multiple times. I laughed out loud, I cried out loud also. It made me have faith in humans. I smile when I think about this film. I had not seen any of the actors in other films and did not know what to expect. I loved the performances and got completely immersed in the film. Even reading the English subtitles I never felt like I missed anything. The director was flawless in making this film. I have seen over 3,200 films from around the world and easily in my top 10. I could watch the two main characters for hours. You can feel the bond and experience the bonding. I could feel and see the depth of each character and th hard work the actors put into to making this movie one of the best I have seen. Highly recommended.

I started watching the IMDb top 250 a couple of years ago after I finished the AFI top 100 list of everything they had. One of the most pleasant surprises was my introduction to films from India. I don't believe they know how to make a bad film. This is another 10/10. I get so wrapped up in this movie. The lack of understanding the language is never felt. The actors do such a great job you may not understand the words but you feel the emotion and it seems like you are right there. I laughed out loud and cried like a small child. What a great story with great actors. Aamir Khan is one of my new favorite actors. The man has skills and talent that many others can't even come close to touching. The music fits. We make fun of it over here in America but once I opened up my eyes and saw how well it helps to tell the story. Man we Americans can be so judgmental. I believe it is because no American studio can pull it off so they make fun of it out of jealousy. Aamir Khan provides another unbelievable performance. If he doesn't have a president for his fan club sign me up to do it. The man can flat out act.
