Poor aesthetics
16 March 2019
I'm gonna comment on one thing, and that is aesthetics! This is one of the ugliest movies I have ever seen. How can people say that this movie has great CGI? The animals simply do not look like animals in this movie, they are anatomically incorrect, head size and ears don' match the head size, and Shere Kaan is a sorry excuse of a tiger. In one scene with Shere Kaan I'm not sure he is talking to a monkey or a hyena. They look like they have scabies, and in several scenes they look wet, that means too much gloss and reflection in the CGI. The aesthetics and visuals of this movie is simply bad

Embarrassing

The humor and script is a copy of Deadpool, which wasn't great either. The movie looks like Guardians of the galaxy and the characters are forced to life from gender equation. Where's the originality? From the opening scene I knew it was going to be bad, the jokes are served to the viewer on a silver platter. No need for brain cells to watch this movie. I could feel my brain rotting as I watched it...

The Visit (I) (2015)

where do I begin..
7 August 2016
I'm at a loss for words...The plot is original, but somewhat bad. It has plot holes but good performances. The script is original and fun, but as many other movies, it gives children a grown-up vocabulary/lines which makes it inauthentic. Regarding the plot holes, if you have paid attention to what the visitors coming to the house say, they are literally contradicting the plot twist in the manuscript.

For true horror seekers this is not the one, the general feel of the movie is fun and happening at day time. But a handful of jump-scares, the plot twist and the little brother's rapping make it worth to watch though if you're on the fence..

Sadly not a scary movie
12 April 2015
I like to be scared so I am in the constant search for scary movies that will make me gasp, reach for the blanket and regret I even started the movie... and there are probably other people like me here on IMDb. The movie started out scary, really scary...but it lasts for only 25 minutes or so..then the ridiculous torture begins which I've seen 120 times before..so I'm getting the feeling that the people who made this movie, first "original" idea was some new fancy way to torture people and later wrapped it up in some fancy reason to categorize it with other "thinker" movies. This will get a 6 as so many other horror movies, wonder if a scary movie ever will earn a REAL 7 rating..

Worth the ticket money!
6 August 2014
This is first of all a fun movie about two friends sorely holding on to the happy hashish life of the 70's. The lead role Carl, played by norwegian actor Kristoffer Joner is basically carved for this role and he got the details down and out till' his fingertips. While he and his partner in crime Robert unwillingly distributes heroine, they stumble across some fun and more serious problems. Their moral is put to the test and so are their friendship, what is right and what is wrong in their criminal world that they deny to live in? This movie will show you the darker side of drug abuse, but will also let you sympathise with those on the other side of the law. But don't despair, this movie will not leave you depressed

ONLY spoiler alert in the SECOND section for those who want to read the first :)

Warning: Spoilers
I must say I am really disappointed about this last twilight movie, not the content itself or story. BUT the lack of attention to details, in all the other movies I felt like they have handpicked music and songs to make it perfect audio vise. But in the last one you're sort of surprised by this weird arcade game music (thats the closest I could compare it to on short notice) in beautiful and important scenes. (it ruins the whole feel of it)

And the clothes, seriously !! Edward is dressed up like a schoolboy, and that does not go well with him being a father in this movie. And this computer made baby, really !! couldn't they find a real baby, I'm sure their budget could take it. And about the ending, finding out that the whole fighting scene wasn't real, was really disappointing since it was nearly the best thing in it. But than i would actually be a bit sad about Carlisle, since hes like morality himself..
