Any Day Now (1998–2002)
It's such a wonderful program.
1 November 2003
I remember myself just sitting at home, flicking through all these cliche programs. I just fell upon a KKK meeting in black and white. I find such an interest in how these people feel they are doing a service for "their" country when all they do is disgrace our forefathers. Anyway, from that day on, I got hooked to it. It's just so realistic. It tackles so many common problems. I just loved it. Yeah, yeah, I'm a guy, but it's such a cool program. I got it here on Lifetime Networks but it comes on at around 1:30 AM to 2:30AM. Lately getting cut off by trashy and ridiculous infomercials. Anyway, if you catch an episode, just look at it. It's so... Powerful. I love the original girls that played the young Mary-Elizabeth and the young Rene. They were better than their replacements. I love Lorraine Toussaint, she just showed a power in her character, but she also had that weakness. It's hard to describe, but she great. ME played by Annie Potts is also wonderful. If nothing else, it's awesome to see their relationship and how long its been together. Even through the stupidity of segregation, they survived. This is getting too long. Long story short, I love the show. I hope that Colliar Sims (young and old) work on some new projects. As well as ME and Rene. Kelly is a nice character. Davis is okay. Ajoni is interesting. Joe, that's a hilarious guy right there. CATCH THE SHOW PEOPLE, you'll love it.

Knight Rider: Knight of the Phoenix: Part 1 (1982)
Season 1, Episode 1
It's still nice
1 November 2003
I catch it everyday at 5 PM on the SciFi Channel. I remember watching Knight Rider as a kid and just hypnotized by it's "coolness". I look at it now and I still get hypnotized. Sure, some situations are a little excessive in terms of "reality" but we got a talking car that drives itself. I love the whole "talking car" bit, it's awesome. I wonder to myself if they remade it to a more modern beat, would it work? I mean, imagine the KITT system in something like a Rousch Stage 3 Mustang or maybe an import like a Nissan Skyline. It'd be great. David Hasselhoff is unfortunately irreplaceable but if I had to choose everybody over again, Michael and RC could be Bill Belamy and Peter Facinelli off of Fastlane from FOX networks. Tiffany could play Bonnie's character. Devon could be Charles Shaughnessy (Maxwell Sheffield off of "The Nanny"). Yeah, yeah, I bet everyone is going "Ha,ha,ha, not those people, in the same room". Ah well, I tried. That's why I'm not a director or producer, just a writer. Two episodes that stuck out to me is where Michael goes in as a lead singer for a band that had it's original leader killed, he sings, it's just funny. I mean, he did do theater. Another episode was one he married his girlfriend that had left him because "FLAG" was taking up his life. Anyways, it was just a REALLY DRAMATIC episode that felt like a jagged pill. You had to take this highly entailing (or what could have been) story in one hour. It was rushed and whatnot, but it was pretty nice. It had a nice twist here and there, so even though it should have been stretched out in TWO hours, it's not bad. Thanks for reading!
