Night Monster (1942)
Excellent!
Saw this last night on Svengooli. First saw this movie in 1978 on Fright Night (WDRB Channel 41, Louisville). I've probably seen this movie at least 10 times! It never gets old. Had the VHS, now I have the DVD. I always watch when it shows up on Sven.
I know it's just an indoor movie set, but I would love to see some sort of floor plan for Ingston Towers. Neat old house!!
The only drawback is that Bela didn't get very much screen time. More of Bela is always a good thing.
So the next time this on, grab some popcorn, turn out all the lights and enjoy a nice low-budget thriller about a spooky house and the people inside.
Running Against Time (1990)
Nice little Time-Travel flick!
Grab your popcorn and enjoy this for what it is: a nice Made-For-TV movie.
Time-Travel has always amazed me. And I'm somewhat a student of the JFK assassination.
Wonderful cast. Nice photography, considering the very limited budget with which the producers had to work with.
And I've not seen it mentioned, but Smooley, the dog, is a wonderful actor!!! And where on Earth did they come up with the name "Smooley"???
Solid 10 for me!
I Saw What You Did (1965)
Nifty little movie!
Had never seen this 'til last night. Watched it - where else? - on Svengooli! The only way it could've been better would be if there had been a thunderstorm going on in the background.
Yes, it was cheesy, but I like cheesy.
And Spot, the dog, was brilliant!
Glad I watched. Cheap fun.
Now......bring on that thunderstorm!!!
