Better than the first one with a lot more action and intensity in it
4 May 2024
'Bad Boys for Life' is about a notorious and malicious ex Mexican prisoner called Isabel Aretas who is Dt Mike Lowrey's ex lover who has escaped from a Mexican prison and with the help of her son Armando Aretas wants to kill Dt Mike Lowrey. The dangerous mother and son are on the streets of Miami trying to kill Dt Mike Lowrey, and Armando Aretas tries to kill Dt Mike Lowrey riding his motorbike and by using a machine gun. Dt Mike Lowrey is badly injured, admitted to hospital but luckily survives. After struggling to get Armando Aretas, Dt Mike Lowrey manages to confront Isabel she tries to kill Dt Lowrey she gets killed by the Miami PD and so does Armando Aretas who comes face to face with Dt Lowrey ends up in a fight with Dt Lowrey but ends up getting killed. 'Bad Boys for Life' has a lot more powerful action, fighting and intensity than the first Bad Boys film and is definitely an awesome film.

Men of Honor (2000)
10/10
Definitely an amazing and excellent film with amazing diving scenes and a great plot
26 April 2024
Men of Honour is about a man called Carl Brashear(played by Cuba Gooding Jr) who leaves home and goes to the Navy. Taking his race as a Black Man in a full White Navy an irrelevance he is committed and intent on achieving his goals. Having to be around a racist Navy and a very harsh, rude and aggressive man in charge, Master Chief Billy Sunday(played by Robert De Niro), Chief Billy Sunday is not convinced that Carl Brashear has the skills or abilities to do some of the most dangerous and toughest tasks such as deep sea diving etc, but Carl Brashear tries to prove he does. Being in a full White Navy and having a very unkind Chief, there are some divers such as Snowhill(played by Michael Rapaport) who supports Carl Brashear. Carl has to push himself a lot to achieve his goals and his strengths and abilities seem to be very high in Tests but he continues to do this to achieve his goals. Chief Billy Sunday gets arrested for violently attacking a Navy Soldier in a pub, when he is let out, his wife Gwen Sunday(played by Charlize Theron) gives him warnings and chances to change his attitude and personality. When let out Chief Billy Sunday has found out that Carl Brashear has achieved high ranks and now is a Chief but has also lost one of his legs but is using a Prosthetic leg to help him walk. Chief Billy Sundays attitude and personality have changed, he starts to speak to him kindly and now supports him. There are some high ranking people who want to put Carl Brashear and his skills down, but when in court he has to prove in a heavy diving suit with the support of Billy Sunday that he's able to walk to be able to get transferred to Los Angeles. The court aren't convinced and try to undermine Carl Brashear, but Billy Sunday argues with them and has a go at them knowing Carl Brashear is able. So when in a heavy diving suit Carl Brashear and with a prosthetic leg he has to get up, he also has to walk 12 steps towards Billy Sunday. This is a very difficult task for Carl Brashear but he manages to do it and passes, making himself and his wife and son happy as well as others such as Billy Sunday. This film Men of Honour is an absolutely brilliant film full of intensity, action and some amazing diving scenes, the film also has some absolutely brilliant acting by Robert De Niro, Cuba Gooding Jr, Charlize Theron. The Big Hit (1998)
8/10
Great Action Comedy with some great action
12 April 2024
'The Big Hit' is about a contract killer called Melvin Smiley(played by Mark Wahlberg) who has a lot to deal with in his life such as two romantic relationships. One of the women Chantel is a very demanding woman and demands loads from him., the other woman doesn't know anything about his job. Melvin struggles to please and satisfy Chantel's big and very expensive demands making it awkward for Melvin. Melvin is involved with a team of gangsters and feeling underpaid for their work for mob boss Paris the assassin team of Smiley, Cisco, Crunch, Vince and Gump take an independent job in kidnapping Keiko Nishi the teenage daughter of a local Japanese Electronics magnate Jiro Nishi for a hefty ransom. What the Gang don't know is their boss. Paris is the girls godfather. The team each deal with what they have to do separately and not together. Melvin looks after Keiko Nishi and she finds him a lot more nicer and friendlier and doesn't feel like he's a killer. So they grow closer but when Paris finds out that Cisco has told Paris that Melvin has her, the team including Paris's men go looking for Melvin. Cisco has set Melvin up and as Melvin and Keiko Nishi grow closer as lovers after his previous romantic relationships failed, Melvin stays wit her to help but gets in a big fight with Cisco until he kills him and goes back to Keiko Nishi. This film being an action comedy had a bit of silliness to it, but being an action comedy it did have some great action in it. It's not as powerful or as excellent as The Corruptor but it definitely is a very good film.

This TV Producer is also a villain and see's Jack Conrad's violent fights against other prisoners such as Ewan McStarley(played by Vinnie Jones), the Japanese man Saiga(played by Masa Yamaguchi), Petr Raudsep(played by Nathan Jones) etc. One of the staff in the Control Room called Julie tells Ian to stop what he's doing because all the things he's filming and showing is extremely brutal, dangerous and malicious, but Ian ignores it. Eventually only two prisoners have a very brutal and deadly battle and they are Jack Conrad and Ewan. It turns out to be a very brutal battle, bags are dropped from helicopters and when Ewan opens one and sees a big gun he starts to use it continuously and tries to kill Jack. It ends up looking as Jack died falling from a very high cliff and Ewan ends up being the winner, but when Jack is on the ground and slowly gets up and goes to wear the Control Room is and confronts Ewan, Ewan tells him he didn't want to be involved in what had happened, Jack doesn't believe him and ends up killing Ewan. Definitely much better and with more action than Escape Plan 2
15 March 2024
Escape Plan 3 is a very good film. The film which is about security expert Ray Breslin(played by Sylvester Stallone) is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter Daya Zhang of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison. Breslin's girlfriend Abigail is also captured and held hostage by an extremely malicious man called Lester Clark Jr who is killing innocent people he holds hostage and who has put Daya Zhang's life and Abigail's life in danger. The only choice Breslin has to do is to get in contact with Trent DeRosa(played by Dave Bautista) and set up a team with him, Shen Lo and Bao Young but whilst Breslin is on the move in the big Latvian Prison to rescue Abigail, Lester manages to take something away from one of the prisoners which is a phone which Breslin is connected to and Lester firmly holding Abigail shows Breslin what he's going to do and slashes a very big knife across Abigail's throat which ends up killing her. This film has a lot of excellent action, intensity and suspense as well as some awesome fight scenes with some people such as Shen Lo doing some excellent Chinese Kung Fu fighting moves to kill the enemies. Trent does a great fight scene as well and so does Breslin. The only thing that I would like to see a bit more of in this film is Trent doing a few more scenes showing him fight some lethal enemies using his excellent fighting skills. This film has some excellent acting by Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista, 50 Cent, Max Zhang, Harry Shum Jr, Devon Sawa, Jaime King, Lydia Hull, Malese Jow and Russell Wong.

'Ronin' is a film which is about five mercenaries known as 'Ronin' who are on a deadly mission to recover and steal a top secret briefcase wanted by the Irish and Russians which involves them in a deadly pursuit to recover the Briefcase before the Irish and Russians get their hands on it. This Robert De Niro film is also another excellent film of his with a great cast and an excellent plot. The film is just amazing with some very fast car chases, shootouts, explosions, high powered action and which also has some really great intensity. I loved watching this film and will definitely watch it again because it was so enjoyable and entertaining to watch. The film had some absolutely brilliant acting by Robert De Niro and the other actors who acted in the film. I loved this film and it just brilliant.

Excellent, more fight scenes, action, intensity and much better than the first film
5 November 2022
'Delta Force 2: Colombian Connection' is about a malicious, ruthless, wealthy and powerful Colombian Drug Lord called Ramon Cota who keeps on importing in Cocaine into America, blaming America and his proud of his corruption which is also destroying the countries youth and causing a feud between the DEA and San Carlos. Cota goes round killing people, he killed a Delta Force General, killed the wife and the son, attacked an innocent Colombian woman, stole her baby and killed her husband killed loads more people. Colonel Scott McCoy(played by Chuck Norris) must fly in with his team to kill the evil Colombians and rescue the innocent people. This film is a lot more intense, the intensity of the Delta Force and the Colombian enemies was very intense. There was loads of explosions and shoot outs in this film and there were more fight scenes which was great. Now having more fight scenes in this film was amazing and really intensified the film a lot more. This film definitely had things that the first Delta Force film lacked and it really was an excellent film.

Very Good film but lacks some things
5 November 2022
'The Delta Force' a group of an elite group of Special Operations Forces men are sent to help and a group of passengers on an aeroplane which has been hijacked by two dangerous Palestinian Terrorists who are killing innocent people and telling the pilot and his staff to stop at Beirut. The malicious Palestinian Terrorists Abdul and Mustafa have separated the male passengers from the female passengers, have only the male passengers on board and are viciously attacking them and killing them. Colonel Scott McCoy(played by Chuck Norris) from 'The Delta Force' must save these male passengers and kill these two dangerous Palestinian Terrorists. There was some very good action, shootouts and explosions in this film, there wasn't much fight scenes but there was some intensity. The fight scene between Scott McCoy and Abdul was a very powerful but was the only fight scene in the film. Unfortunately this film needed more fight scenes and needed to be a bit more intense, but it definitely is a very good film.

Needed a lot more and could have been a lot better but only in between ok and good
16 July 2022
'Assault On Station 33' is a thriller which is about a veteran hospital which has been captured and the whole place including the people are under siege by a group of ruthless and violent terrorists. One of the patients Jason Hill(played by Sean Patrick Flanery) who suffers from PTSD wants to help because his wife Jennifer Hill(played by Gina Holden) is a hostage and is in great danger. This film was quite intense and a bit scary at times because of the dangerous and violent terrorists and their actions.

THINGS I LIKED: I liked Sean Patrick Flanery and his acting as Jason Hill. I also liked how brave he was to stand up to and fight against dangerous armed terrorists and kill them. I also liked that there was a bit of intensity in this film. I also was amazed and really liked the fight when Sean Patrick Flanery fought against Mark Dacascos who was armed in an excellent fight.

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE: Rob Van Dam. It was completely unnecessary and inappropriate to have him in this film. He just sat in that Van doing nothing. He could have been used for some better scenes. Michael Jai White is an extremely powerful man, but in this film instead of taking too long to get the suspects, he as Chief Malone could have come in and used his Martial Skills to take down these terrorists. There wasn't any of that and there should have been some fight scenes with him in it fighting against some of the dangerous terrorists.

Basically this film needed a lot more and could have been a lot better. So yes this film needed big improvements. It was not intense enough, it wasn't action packed and to be honest it's only an in between ok and good film for me.

Space Jam (1996)
10/10
Excellent basketball film with humour, fun and an awesome soundtrack
15 July 2022
'Space Jam' is an excellent. It is a completely different film to different Basketball films such as 'White Men Can't Jump' and Above The Rim' and might seem a bit unusual but it is a film which is fun to watch. 'Space Jam' is a film about Michael Jordan who plays himself and has retired from Basketball and is now playing Baseball. Some small weird animated characters led by an evil cigar smoking boss wants to get hold of some people. So they hear about The Looney Tunes Characters Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester The Cat, Tweetie Pie and some other characters. They do manage to get hold of these characters led by Bugs Bunny and want him. Meanwhile some other famous Basketball Players who play themselves such as Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird etc are still playing and are involved in matches, but when they are still playing matches in the NBA, the small animated characters get inside both Charles Barkleys body and Patrick Ewings body making them lose their strength, skill and ability and steal it which also turns the small animated characters into huge powerful giants and also cause Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird and others to stop playing because they've lost it all. Bugs Bunny confronts Michael Jordan and tells him about playing Basketball, he says he's retired but the Looney tunes characters really want him to play. They also have created a basketball court where none of the human basketball fans can see them play. Michael Needs some of the Looney Tunes characters to get his Basketball Clothes and Boots from his house. When that is done they have to face these huge aggressive animated characters in a match but he tells his Looney Tunes team to stick together and work hard and not give up. Bill Murray also comes to a match to help. Before the final match Michael has to make a deal with these huge animated characters that if he wins he stays with his Looney Tunes team or if he losses they can have him. So a tough match goes ahead and finally Michael wins doing a massive slam dunk, jumping above the huge animated characters and managing to put the ball into the net. He succeeds and after the match the evil cigar smoking boss of the huge animated character comes and they get rid of him. The next thing they are able to pull their bodies making themselves go down to the very small size they were. They said they didn't want to be so huge. Jordan puts the Ball into his bag and leaves. In a hall, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird etc are all seated. Michael walks in, they all say hi and then Michael takes the ball out of his bag and tells them to hold it by putting their hand on it, they are afraid but slowly they do it after being told again to hold it and they get their skills, abilities and stamina back. This film has an awesome soundtrack and was definitely a fun, humorous and enjoyable film to watch.

Midnight Run (1988)
10/10
An excellent combination of intense action and comedy, this is absolutely brilliant
8 July 2022
'Midnight Run' is a cop comedy about a tough ex cop turned bounty hunter called Jack Walsh(played by Robert De Niro) who is trying to avoid the Chicago Police in order to catch a sensitive accountant called Jonathan 'The Duke' Mardukas(played by Charles Grodin). Jack wants to do things his way in dealing with The Duke. He also changes his identity and falsely goes under the name of the FBI Captain Alonso Mosely(played by Yaphet Kotto) but when Mosely finds out what Jacks up to he also wants to get involved using his own ways. Marvin Dorfler(played by John Ashton) also wants to get hold of The Duke. The FBI is after Duke because of his involvement with dangerous killer Jimmy Serrano(played by Dennis Farina). Jacks in for a cool $100,000 if he can deliver Duke from New York to LA. Jacks dealing with Duke is also known later by the FBI and they want to make sure Jack gives Serrano the discs so they can all go and arrest Serrano, making Jacks plans work. 'Midnight Run' stars Robert De Niro, Charles Grodin, Yaphet Kotto, John Ashton, Dennis Farina, Joe Pantoliano, Richard Fonojy, Robert Miranda, Wendy Phillips, Danielle DuClos, Philip Baker Hall and Tom McCleister. What made this film great was John Ashton as Marvin Dorfler, this actor was in 'Beverly Hills Cop' and 'Beverly Hills Cop II' as Taggart but in this film he was also excellent and made me laugh a few times. I love this film and it was a different but classic cop comedy.

Mercenary for Justice (2006 Video)
7/10
Intense, with great fight scenes and action but only in between good and very good
7 July 2022
Mercenary For Justice was an in between good and very good film. The film which was about a highly trained black ops agent for the CIA called John Seeger(played by Steven Seagal). When a deadly mission goes wrong and his partner and best friend is slaughtered before his eyes by Mercenaries, the CIA deny all knowledge of the incident, refusing to even pay compensation to the bereaved family. Seeger is then forced back into action when the same band of ruthless Mercenaries kidnap his partners family to ensure he will cooperate with their malicious plans. Seeger now has only four days to free a notorious crime lord, save his friends family and escape the CIA. This film was intense, as well as having some great fight scenes, was full of high powered action, explosions etc. The only faults this film had is Luke Goss was awful using a fake American accent in this film as an American Killer and he also was awful in the film. Besides being intense, having great fight scenes, high powered action, explosions etc, the film could have been a lot better. I mean there should have been more fight scenes, Luke Goss shouldn't have been in this film and another real American actor should have been used to do his role. Luke Goss's appearance in this film ruined the film, so that's why I feel that it is a film which is only in between good and very good. Mercenary For Justice is not a crap film but it does need improvements.

'Heat' is an excellent film about high class thieves trying to do a robbery and protect themselves from the LAPD. This film also had some excellent action, intensity and also some excellent acting. The film starred and had some excellent acting by Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, Jon Voight, Tom Sizemore, Diane Venora, Amy Brenneman, Ashley Judd, Mykelti Williamson and DannY Trejo. The final battle between Lt Vincent Hanna(played by Al Pacino) and Neil McCauley(played by Robert De Niro) was also awesome. Robert De Niro looked very handsome as Neil McCauley in this film. This film was directed by Michael Mann the man who did 'Ali', 'Miami Vice' and the 'Miami Vice' TV Series.

Original Top Gun 1000000 times better than this film
29 June 2022
Top Gun: Maverick is a good film.

They took far too long to make this film. The film started off very good with great music from the first film such as some Harold Faltermeyer tunes and Kenny Loggins tune 'Danger Zone'. The acting in this film was also great and the actors did very well. The air combat scenes, dogfights etc were great but there was no tension or powerful music used along with these scenes. The films soundtrack was not good but the tension surrounding the pilots such as Gooses son Bradley Rooster Bradshaw with the other pilots and Maverick was great. There were a lot of good things such as the air combat scenes, dogfights, tension, friendship with Maverick and Penny Benjamin etc but there could have been improvements in other ways. The acting by Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Bashir Slahahuddin, Jon Hamm, Charles Parnell, Monica Barbaro, Lewis Pullman, Jay Ellis, Danny Ramirez and Glen Powell was excellent. As I mentioned this film is not excellent but it is in between very good and excellent.

Never seen Van Dammes Sudden Death but this definitely was great
24 June 2022
'Welcome to Sudden Death' has been said as a sequel to Van Dammes 'Sudden Death' and also a remake of 'Sudden Death', but really I don't care because I'm not a Van Damme film fan but this definitely was an excellent film. The film also had some very good fight scenes which were fun to watch. The fight scenes weren't brilliant like the ones in 'Blood and Bone' and 'Falcon Rising' but they definitely were very good. The film was only 1hr 16min and should have been longer say 1hr 30min etc. It was tense but the film needed a bit more in it. Things such as more intensity and a few more fight scenes. It was not one of Michael Jai Whites best films but what it had in it such as the very good fight scenes, action and tension all were very good. I gave it 10/10 because it also is a very entertaining film.

Faster (2010)
1/10
Bloody awful, lacks everything, just pure lame, weak and boring crap
27 May 2022
Faster is a film which I thought was bloody awful. I don't like some of The Rocks films only a few but this one just lacked everything, the acting, the characters and the film were just absolutely crap. I understood the plot of the film but there was no power in the film or the films plot, no intense action etc. Driver (played by Dwayne Johnson) was just a psychotic maniac he just went round shooting everyone without confronting them or asking them why they killed his brother. The characters were awful and crap, the acting was crap, no intensity and it was just weak. I was absolutely bored by the dullness of this awful film, there was nothing I enjoyed or found enjoyable about it it.

The Contractor (2007 Video)
8/10
A very good film with emotion, very good action and great acting
15 April 2022
The Contractor is a film about an ex C. I. A Agent called James Dial(played by Wesley Snipes) who is asked to kill a terrorist but when that goes wrong he realizes that he is being set up by his former employer Jeremy Collins(played by Ralph Brown). When things for The Police and they don't know who James Dial, keen to find out who he is etc. The US Police Led by Jeremy Collins, try to take over and want to sort out James Dial. James Dial is on the run, moves about quickly but when he is approached in an underground car park by DCS Andrew Windsor(played by Charles Dance), Jeremy Collins comes sees them both and kills DCS Andrew Windsor. James Dial finds a place to stay and a 13 year old girl called Emily Day(played by Eliza Bennett) shows her care, support and understanding towards James Dial. James knows that he can trust this girl and that she's the only he can trust, he tells her that he didn't kill the Police Officer, she trusts and believes him. After the UK Police have seen a picture of James and are still keen to find out where James Dial is, DI Annette Ballard(played by Lena Headey) gets a call from James, he explains he's the guy she's looking for and plans to meet up. He explains everything about himself to her and that he also has the proof to prove he did not kill her father DCS Andrew Windsor and that it was Jeremy Collins. The UK Police see more videos with showing Jeremy Collins kill DCS Andrew Windsor. When James Dial and Jeremy Collins meet face to face it's a battle with Jeremy Collins constantly firing his guy with James hiding in different positions trying to protect himself and also fire his gun. This film is not an in between very good and excellent film or excellent film but it is a different film to some of his action thrillers which is very good with emotion, very good action and some great acting.
