Tired of hashing out the same old story? I know I was. Here is an original fantasy that will entertain!

As a passionate viewer and an avid consumer of entertainment, I felt compelled to share my thoughts about this unfair rating. Damsel is anything but ordinary. In fact, it was refreshingly unpredictable, a rarity in today's cinematic landscape dominated by formulaic plots and predictable endings.

But it wasn't just the plot twists that kept me hooked; it was also the characters and the stellar performances by a wonderful cast that brought the story to life.

As for the film's rating of 6.2 on IMDb, I couldn't disagree more. In my opinion, this arbitrary number fails to capture the essence and quality of the story. While I understand that tastes may vary, do not dismiss this story because it dares to be different in a long list of boring mainstream films.

Absolutely captivating! I was so lost in the story that I had no idea how much time had gone by. The storytelling, as it moves from past to present, felt like an emotional symphony. Understanding Spanish made it so much more moving. Felt like watching The Notebook for the first time and in a documentary. A masterpiece that stirred my emotions like no other film in years.

Moreover, this documentary highlights the profound talent of women directors, showcasing their ability to craft narratives that resonate deeply. It's a testament to the need for more recognition for this exceptional contribution to the film industry. Deserves a much higher rating!
