The best story is the one each one is living
25 December 2020
This is definitely not a conventional, typical, plot development story with perfectly defined characters. This is a study of each individual, their own demons, their priorities and at the center stage, the completely complex, out of focus way of living of teenagers that are confined to a fleeting life that changes every time they are being moved to a new base. They are collateral damage, and the parents rather turn a blind eye rather than confronting that there is something wrong going on. And specially since they themselves are carrying so much internal drama. If you are looking for a well defined drama of a military base (which is just circunstancial) go check some cheesy series. This is not the case. And it depicts so accurately the way teenagers subjected to those conditions would react. Yes, that is probably not the majority of them but this specific group showcases what happens when they are going through all those life changes, trying to find their own identity in a world that is too small for them. They are now not limited by boundaries anymore in regards to everything: genre definition, authority, school, etc. Some people may not like it, but that is called human evolution, even if you want to close your eyes to it.

Great underrated movie
7 April 2019
Quite honestly, I pushed watching this until I was on a plane and that was my only decent option. Oh how wrong I was!!! I had to rent it immediately as I got home. This is a nicely done movie, excellent cinematography, perfect acting and very interesting plot. Of course, it is understandable the many down votes and negative comments here, as this movie has many layers and subtle tones that are not evident for the regular pop-corn movie watcher. But this goes to the top of my list and one that will be a definite repeat many times over.

No serious plot here as expected, just light comedy
24 June 2018
It has its fun moments and they make you feel joy and lighthearted. That is all, it gets you to forget of all bitterness going around while entertaining you for a little while. I just think they could have exploited the Raquel Welch character even further, and there were some times it gets a bit boring but all in all it is light comedy and Eugenio and Salma make a good funny duo. I wish we saw more of them in some additional goof flicks like this.

good movie with interesting storyline and nice cinematography
24 February 2018
A lot was put into this movie and it shows. Some may have trouble understanding the story or even consider it "slow" at times, but those are the same people that want every movie to be a super-hero or Hollywood type movie, and this is up there with the avante-garde, insightful and artistic movies. I think the storyline could have been a bit more polished, but in general the looks of the film, the acting, etc do no disappoint. If you have not seen it, do not allow critics form your judgement, watch it and then decide if it fits your viewing likes or not.
