Scarlett (2020)

Wasted Time

One of those "kept hoping it would get better" movies.

Weak plot, terrible directing, totally unrealistic action scenes. There wasn't much simple common sense anywhere in the movie. How many times, in one movie, can the bad guys get the drop on you and the situation seems hopeless, then due to some ridiculous and totally unrealistic turn of events, you manage to reverse it and escape, only to get captured again. It almost made me dizzy with the number of times this happened, sometimes three or four times in the same scene.

How many people in the world do not know that when you have the chance to incapacitate someone who is trying to kill you, you don't simply stun them, you stack and attack until they are permanently eliminated. I lost count of the number of times that rule was not followed. So every time the guy was knocked down and the good guy ran, the bad guy got back up and resumed their attempt to kill you.

I could go on and on, but why?

What a total waste of time.

Treason (2022)

A Gripping Tale that Ends Too Soon

"I absolutely loved this. It was very engrossing right from the start, with a great cast of actors that made it very entertaining. The story was great and would make an even greater book if it hasn't already. I loved the complexity of the plot, which makes you realize how devious people can be. There were lots of little twists and turns that weren't too predictable. The kids also played their parts really well. I loved that it was based in London, which made it even better. I'm a big fan of Olga and she played her part really well. My only gripe was that it ended too soon. I thought it could have had one more episode, but otherwise, it was really good. It just ended too soon!"

What a woke movie! Yuk.

Equality was improving every day. Fewer and fewer people were seeing any racial differences until Obama came into office. Now it is worse than it's been since the 50s.

It is so sad to see Bruce Willis in movies as awful as this. With a weak plot, terrible script, and the action scenes were totally ridiculous. Everything about the movie was very low par.

Strange Evidence (2017– )

Ignorance Abounds!

I was channel surfing. Something on the Syfy Channel's Strange Evidence caught my eye. After watching about 20 minutes of it, I had to change channels to watch something else. First of all, the over exaggerated dramatic presentations are quite insulting. They can't believe we are that dumb. Secondly some of the theories put forth about some of the "strange evidence" were unbelievable. And I mean that literally. They were so ridiculous it was astounding. Won't be watching that show.

I hope this is not where our movies are headed Pitiful on so many levels from beginning to end. Weak and unrealistic plot. Horrible music. Fake and illogical action. I would have given it a negative rating if I could have.

One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. Weak plot and so much gratuitous vulgar language, by the kids no less. I could totally have done without this one.

The Dogs!

The best thing about this movie are the dogs! The rest of the movie is so far over the top it's difficult to watch. One of the problems with sequels is that they have to try and outdo the last one and in so doing, the go too far and wind up ruining it. I believe that is what they did with John Wick: Chapter 3.

This is the worst Hallmark movie I've yet to see. Extremely weak plot, poor acting, and so contrived it made me ill.

Scared the Crap Out of Me

What a fun movie! Loved the way it fed information slowly and effectively so that you really didn't know what was going to happen next. And yes, at one point in particular, I had to get up and go into the kitchen for a drink rather than watch. It was that scary to me.

12 Strong (2018)

One of the Best Movies I've Seen!

OK, so it lacked realism. I don't mind. The overall production, in my opinion was well don. The movie was easy to "get into", and very inspirational. I highly recommend watching it.
