The Next 365 Days (2022)
Who needs a script..
This series has progressively gotten worse with each movie. The first was fairly enjoyable, whereas the second began the downfall. This third one though- complete trash. I struggled to finish it. There is hardly any script any no real plot.. The characters are attractive and that's the whole movie. Who needs character development, anyway? Story line? Nahh!
So when you take the script and plot away, but have attractive people what else are you to do? Sex of course! At this rate that seems to be the movie's only purpose. Push the boundaries to get as close to pornography without actually becoming porn.. And I'm no prude- but when that's all the film has to offer you know it's junk.
It does have an occasional good song though.
365 Days: This Day (2022)
Rushed and lackluster.
The first movie was pretty good. Characters had stories, there was a decent plot, and a cliffhanger ending making you want to see the 2nd movie.
This, however, was just bad.
The cliffhanger of Laura getting into some sort of accident was not even acknowledged until halfway through the movie, and only mentioned in passing. The sex scenes we're passionless, unlike the first movie. You can tell the sole purpose of the sex scenes was "shock" factor, push the boundaries more than the first film.
This movie was rushed, hardly any plot, and just a disappointment. I'd be shocked if they made the 3rd. Music was the best part.
Cinderella (2021)
Wonderful take
This movie is super cute, fun, and meaningful!
Instead of Cinderella just falling in love and getting married, she chooses to chase her dreams! The music was great and modern, and the acting was good. Definitely recommend for young girls just based off the message alone!
How wonderful for Latina girls to see someone like them play such an iconic role as well?!
Highly recommend!
He's All That (2021)
Ouch.
Holy cow this movie is terrible.
Between being rushed, terrible dialogue, and no chemistry between the characters.. Product placement and the couple big names in the movie are the only way this thing was made. Its basically a parody of She's All That. When will society learn that not everyone that gets famous on social media has actual talent?
Deviant Love (2019)
Uh oh.
Deviant Love is the worst movie I have probably ever seen. The acting, although not great, is not the reason for the low rating. What kind of story line was that mess? Who read that script and thought to actually pay to have it made?! The story line is all over the place and nothing really makes sense. The main character falls in love with a ransoms man after the first date. She has random childhood flash backs she doesn't fully understand, for no known reason. It's seriously so bad you just have to watch it to see the train wreck unfold.
Songbird (2020)
Potential lost for a quick buck
I was so excited to watch this film only to be let down half way through.
The movie starts out decently but the plot holes begin to emerge rather quickly. What happened to Sarah's parents? Who is her Lita? (For those that have no knowledge on the Spanish language) If they can't leave their houses how do they get money? Groceries? What and how did some random loan man show up to help Niko escape the parking garage when being ambushed? What happens at the "Q zone"? (No insight to the area, just a brief flyover image and mentioning throughout the film). So many random small storylines were brought in just to help the main storyline succeed, with none of the storylines feeling truly complete.
Overall.... Get it made, get it distributed, and get that cash. Who needs decent storylines anyways?
