Dear Comrade (2019)
poor direction and story
Lot of things are not done right in this movie. Rashmika is failed to impress in this meaty role where there is lot fo scope for the performace. She fails to earn sympathy in this character which is much needed for audience to connect and feel the pain with her.
The interval part seems to be bought in artificially where hero goes somewhere to get enlightenment and comes back and behaves as he behaved at the start of the movie. He doesn't need to go to the process that he went through to help heroine the second half of the story. He could have done the same thing even without the enlightement he got. Not any significance fo his 3 years of Himalaya journey.
The poor direction is especially noticable in the climax. Director has nothing to bring to do justice to the climax. It is just like a 90's court scene.
Rajanna (2011)
A decent film
A film based on the circumstances in a small village Nelakondapalli in Adilabad District post independence. First half of the film is good with the acting of the baby Annie, a great display of pain and emotions. Have got to see the Nagarjuna in a different roll, He does a good job as Rajanna. Nagarjuna comes at the end of the first half. The situations post independence are shot in a good way. Good cinematography and nativity display. rajamouli directed action sequences add so much to the movie. keeravani has given great background score and music which gives the extra to the movie. On the whole a patriotic emotional flick.
