Lip Sync Battle (2015)
Lip Synch Battle is a Riot!!!
I love watching this show and seeing celebrities lip synch and dance to music. It's hokey at times, but sometimes we all need a good laugh!
Lost in Space (2018)
Lost in La La Land
I grew up watching the Original Lost in Space. I even own the original series on DVD. I endured the first season until the bizarre ending of it. I tried watching the second season, but it had gone in such an even more bizarre direction I stopped watching it after the first 2 episodes.
The Call of the Wild (2020)
A Great Dog Movie!
This movie was interesting from the first scene! It was great to watch this unruly dog find himself with help of some caring people along the way. There were quite a few sniffles in parts of this dog's story so make sure you have tissues with you if you cry at sad or happy scenes!
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
A Huge Disappointment!
Incredibly disappointed in this movie, but what could you expect with JJ Abrams at the helm! Yes, it is a SciFi movie, but I expect a SciFi movie to at least adhere to generally accepted scientific principles - the ending was seriously lacking in the scientific realities of outer space!

Doctor Sleep (2019)
Really Disappointed!
Worst Stephen King adaptation I have ever seen! The TV Mini series of The Shining years ago was so much better! As soon as it was over, the handful of folks in the theater just got up and walked out!
The Last Ship (2014)
Bad, bad, bad SYFY Network Type Movie
Maybe you might consider some of what I say below to be a spoiler....
This Movie is so very, very bad. I can't get past the sluggish plot line and bad direction and script errors. The "Last Ship" in this TV movie is a US Navy Destroyer. The commanding officer is referred to as Captain (he's not, he's wearing Commander's silver oak leaf cluster rank) and Commander (O5) is probably the appropriate rank based upon it being a destroyer. Don't even get me started on the lame science behind this whole movie. Everyone wants to jump on the global pandemic band wagon, but those of us who are true SciFi and Apocalypse geeks know you have to have good plot with good science behind it. If the acting was halfway decent, it might have engaged me a little more, I stopped the recording after 10 minutes and deleted this movie from something I want to even bother recording on my DVR!
