She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
Daredevil
I love marvel comics and movies... I am not a fan of this show no offense. I can see why it appeals to some people and I love the character of Jennifer Walters.
HOWEVER!!!! Somehow this show seamlessly introduced my favorite marvel character: Daredevil.
I'm sure they can do the character justice now that he is in good hands. We need to see Matt Murdock cross paths with Peter Parker, Frank Castle, Frank Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds, and we need to see him swing across the city. Like Spider-Man, but, not quite as smoothly
I am sure the gold and red suit is just a nod to the Comics, and he will get his all red suit with the DD logo very very soon
I'm looking forward to see how his cane/baton/nunchucks actually work
Yes!
Orphan: First Kill (2022)
Surprisingly good!
I enjoyed the first movie. Was not expecting much from this prequel, I was delightfully surprised..
This movie actually expands the story and subverts expectations in a very very satisfying way. I was on the edge of my seat and surprised with most of the twists.
A good creepy slasher with plenty of surprises.
Nobody (2021)
What a blast!
I had seen the trailers and heard a few people say it was good, I wasn't really expecting anything special...
Mind completely blown!
This movie is a modern classic. It's so rare to be surprised by a film these days. Also, RZA is the man.
I just read they were making a sequel and I cannot wait!
The Gray Man (2022)
The best spy movie in many many years
I was not expecting much, Netflix doesn't have a Great track record in my opinion, but this was a blast!
Directed by the Russo brothers, I knew it was going to be big and fast and fun, but exceeded all expectations. It really did feel like a huge comic book movie without a superpowers.
Gosling and Evans are awesome, in fact the whole cast was just really good.
This movie is kind of what I was hoping Tenet Would be. Highly recommended for the whole family.
Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)
Perfect second chapter in what should definitely be a trilogy.
The first Zombieland blew my mind. I laughed out loud, was genuinely scared at some points, and almost teared up at the end, when Tallahassee gets his Twinkie.
I saw it alone, While my son and his friends were watching some animated movie I cannot recall. They were 8 or 9.
I took him to see it at The first showing the very next day. That's how much it affected me.
Tonight we watched the sequel Zombieland: Double tap And it more than satisfied our need for a sequel. We were both amazed at just how good a movie it was. Not only did it bring the nostalgia and comedy and awesome zombie fighting, it was a genuinely good film.
If you liked the first one, you will like this one. I hope they make another one.
Happy (2012)
Amazing
(Spoiler Warning)!!!! This film will make you happy! What an amazing feeling I had after watching this film. Film may not be the correct term in describing this passion project of genius, Roko Belic... I think the word experience is apt. Funded and executive produced by comedy directing legend Tom Shadyac(Ace Ventura, Evan Almighty), Mr. Belic takes us around the globe in a search for what it means to be happy...and we find it! It is hard to put into words what he has accomplished in this riveting and eye-opening documentary, but we see and feel that true happiness is pretty easy to attain. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor. SEE THIS FILM/EXPERIENCE!
