Too Hilarious To Be Banned
28 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
One of my personal favorite episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, it uses tons of Massachusetts humor in light of the 2007 Boston marketing mess-up. It is not as very controversial as many other banned episodes because it never directly offends the target. I loved the clever anachronisms with the Ghost of Paul Revere speaking in a voice similar to Mark Wahlberg while Benjamin Franklin spoke in a Colonial accent. Earl Weaver's argument with Revere is classic! The great thing about the episode is that it can be found throughout the internet for fans to watch. The entire episode is one joke after the next, which completely worked. Boston is a great episode.

Hulk (2003)
10/10
The Patriarch Of Intense Comic Book Films
25 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Many people believed that Batman Begins started all of the intense comic book films but Hulk actually started it all without letting people know firsthand.

Ang Lee and James Schamus did a very original and creative interpretation of the iconic Marvel monster while making him much more tragic and relatable at the same time compared to the Marvel Cinematic Universe interpretation. The film is very similar to a Greek tragedy and somewhat inspired Logan due to the gritty and pessimistic feel.

The acting from Eric Bana, Jennifer Connelly, Sam Elliott, Josh Lucas and Nick Nolte were top notch as well as Schamus' writing and Tim Squyres' editing that is very unorthodox compared to quintessential film editing. It made it look like an actual comic book film.

Hulk is a hidden emerald and should be understood better for being more bright.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Handbanana (2006)
Season 4, Episode 5

Man's Worst Friend
25 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This iconic episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a great subversion of a dog being man's best friend. Handbanana was created from Shake's DNA, but constantly causes sexual abuse towards Carl, even though the dog has no clear organs relating to it. Despite this, the Aqua Teens and obviously Shake denied that would happen. I loved Dave Willis' voice acting for that dark dog rapist, so dark. "Tonight.... you." Once those two words get separated, the dog will become man's worst friend. Rape is not a good subject but once you have the dog be the cause of all of this mayhem, it works humorously. Handbanana is one of the best episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and it would be nice to see that episode first.

South Park: With Apologies to Jesse Jackson (2007)

The Blazing Saddles Of South Park
7 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Sure, the N-word is quite controversial, especially when used by black people but the episode from South Park is a perfect satire while helping us learn that word is quite controversial. It all began when Randy Marsh thought that the answer for "people who annoy you" is the N-word, when it turns out to be naggers. Randy Marsh's family became upset he said that word in front of television. However, the word's impact was quite harsh and helped him meet people who said that word including Michael Richards. The episode is a very important South Park episode.

Evil Con Carne (2003–2004)
10/10
A vastly under appreciated hidden gem of animation.
11 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Evil Con Carne was near-forgotten after The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy had six seasons at Cartoon Network. Maxwell Atoms did cancel the earlier show because the latter was much more popular. Evil Con Carne had successful voice talent such as Phil LaMarr, Grey DeLisle, Armin Shimmerman, and FRANK WELKER. It is also very brainy (no pun intended) compared to its drawn out related show. The show was well-written and would have been better received if made now. Bears, brains and beauty, oh my!

Star Wars: Clone Wars: Chapter 20 (2004)
Season 2, Episode 10
10/10
An admirable introduction to General Grievous.
12 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Even though the cartoon series is non-canon after Disney bought Star Wars, but Genndy Tartakovsky introduced General Grievous with a bang over a year before Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith came out in theaters. It was originally going to show Durge before his final blow, but George Lucas suggested Grievous instead. For Lucas-haters, this was a smart move because Genndy showed Grievous as a hardcore Jedi slayer, like Darth Vader in Rogue One and Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace (the best part for prequel-haters). There was also a cunning Scooby-Doo spoof, but thankfully, they made Sha'Agi's voice normal instead of the cartoon character to make the eight minute Chapter 20 perfectly crafted. This is the most memorable of the 2003 Clone Wars series because it introduced fans to Grievous in a way that was not shown in Episode III.

Seinfeld: The Frogger (1998)
Season 9, Episode 18
10/10
A well made episode that was so perfect, even before the finale.
13 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Like "The Pothole" before it, "The Frogger" is pure genius. The episode used tons of typical Seinfeld jokes to an even better effect. Some of the one-shot characters are THAT memorable. The sub-plot where Elaine ate some of Peterman's cake was very funny as well. It seems that many people consider the Frogger the best LAST episode of Seinfeld before the Puerto Rican Day and the Finale. After about 19 years, like the show, it has aged well into millions of peoples' memories. One of the best parts of the episode is where George was moving the Frogger arcade game akin to the style of the Frogger game. Slippery Pete should have a spin-off sooner or later.

Nearly 25 Years Later: The Patriarch of South Park
30 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I usually do not like South Park, but without this cartoon, South Park would not exist. It showed all of the qualities that made South Park so vulgar, dark, funny and snowy. It all began as a spoof of Frosty the Snowman in which, the snowman became a monster. It also showed people that the true meaning of Christmas was all about Jesus Christ's birth. It was well made when it comes to stop- motion. Never say bad words in front of Jesus. The quotes were well written, even on a pretty low budget. The satire about the holidays gave birth to all subsequent South Park media. Three years after the groundbreaking short, there was an even more controversial cartoon about Jesus vs Santa and characterized the characters even further. Two years later, South Park aired on TV. Two years later, a movie was released. Without the short, there would be no South Park whatsoever.

The Matrix Trilogy: Part Two
25 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
The Matrix Reloaded is my personal favorite of the trilogy because it effectively deconstructed Neo's legend without delving into nihilism and introduced causality to the conflicting ideologies. Unlike the films before and after it, it shows a better focus on story and character development. Most people have criticized the last two films for ruining their expectations, but the Wachowskis did it the way they should do it. The Architect might be a bit hard to understand but he deconstructed Neo's myth. Same for how Smith converted from an Agent to a virus. The characters were well written and the scenes had perfect cinematography, including the infamous rave at Zion (which symbolized freedom of sexuality). Next up: The Matrix Trilogy: Part Two Point Five (Enter the Matrix).

Lobo (2000)
10/10
The best DC related series ever!
20 September 2016
Warning: Spoilers
After sixteen years, the relatively unknown Lobo series had got its act not found in other DC animation. Unlike most of the DCAU, it is notable for using graphic violence, profanity and not safe for work jokes. Lobo is an amazing, violent and hilarious bounty hunter who cannot be destroyed. Somehow, the web series made an influence on the aesthetics of the Deadpool film with its similar sensitive matter and graphic violence. The voice-acting and writing was top notch with the detailed Easter eggs found on the flash files before the website was shut down since 2002. The website and Gotham Girls were the first successful web cartoons but Lobo deserves more appreciation with the retrospective predictions found in the cartoons.

The Peeper (1999 Video)
10/10
A great flash cartoon by Sandler.
11 September 2016
Warning: Spoilers
The Peeper was made a flash cartoon after much anticipation from his 1999 album "Stan & Judy's Kid". It was very funny and had some social commentary on perverts who climb up on trees and wear nipple clips. The Peeper cartoon and audio skit served as the inspiration for Jon Lovitz' scene from Little Nicky (2000). The humor is very realistic and not filled with slapstick. In fact, the cartoon has a very catchy and funny theme song. It was also heard in the audio skit. Unlike the audio skit, the dialogue is more audible, which I personally like over the audio skit. Anyone who wants Sandler's first animated try should look online and have some laughs about a man pretending to be a squirrel while caught by a dog and a couple.

An awesome retro game!
2 April 2016
Chemical X-Traction was one of my favorite games for the PlayStation. It was an awesome spin-off of The Powerpuff Girls. It doesn't have enough variety but it has some interesting ways not found in normal fighting video games of the early 2000s. Craig McCracken and Cartoon Network Interactive have really thought this video game through! All the characters have unique moves but with the Powerpuff Girls have extra moves besides laser eyes such as Ice breath for Blossom, Super scream for Bubbles and Tornado for Buttercup. The good thing is that they used all the original voice actors instead of voice doubles while working on the cartoon.

The Matrix (1999)

The Matrix Trilogy: Part One
13 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
From March 1999, to November 2003, The Wachowskis have made the masterpiece trilogy known as The Matrix that doesn't suffer from cute characters such as Yoda and Jar Jar. It has no more than three films (Excluding Animatrix), which makes it not as bloated. The first one was very revolutionary. It was inspired by Alice In Wonderland, Ghost in the Shell, Simulacra and Simulation and Plato's Cave Of The Allegory. Like the other two films after it, The Matrix is flawless. The casting, directing, writing and editing was phenomenal. It was very amazing and had spectacular action and dialogue. From beginning to ending, this film has it all. It won four Academy Awards and got added to the National Film Registry in 2012. Next up: The Matrix Trilogy: Part Two.

Funniest Disney movie that inspired the tone of Guardians of the Galaxy.
30 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
The movie Emperor's New Groove is very funny. It's clever humor and story somewhat inspired Guardians of the Galaxy. David Spade did a great job voicing Kuzco. Yzma is so funny. The movie is highly quotable and shows a lesson about caring about others. My favorite part is where Yzma turns into a cat with a potion. So very funny. James Gunn must have loved this movie because James Gunn makes funny movies. James Gunn must have used a lot of funny parts inspired from this movie and other movies including Footloose, Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark. James Gunn should like this movie and the message of the movie is similar to Guardians.

Samurai Jack (2001–2017)
10/10
Perfect for a film adaptation!
27 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I first got into this show in 2013 and I was amazed and surprised. It had a similar tone to various different acclaimed films. The series and the miniseries finale were downright gritty and felt like The Dark Knight Trilogy. I first watched The Birth of Evil episode and the series blew my expectations. I think this is the only animated series that needs a live-action adaptation. The cast in my adaptation should be Jin Akanishi as Samurai Jack, Ken Watanabe as Aku, Billy Connolly as the Scotsman, Ethan Hawke as X-49, Samuel L. Jackson as the Guardian and Rinko Kikuchi as Ashi.

Getaway (I) (2013)
10/10
So underrated.
26 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this movie at Regal Cinemas at Kingston with my friend and father and unlike many other people, I thought it was great including the acting from Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez. This movie has one of Gomez' underrated roles while her role from Hotel Transylvania as overrated. For example, Selena Gomez' character from Getaway says "Holy s" rather than "Holy rabies." The movie would have been better with a different director like James Cameron or Martin Scorsese. The dialog was well written but the action scenes were not well written. I think that people should watch Getaway more than once to understand what I'm saying. It may seem weird at first, but it actually is hardcore. I made a parody of one scene from this movie featuring footage from Nightmare Before Christmas and Hotel Transylvania. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSpPbdFGN4E

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Turn, Turn, Turn (2014)

Best SHIELD episode ever
30 November 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I consider "Turn, Turn, Turn" to be the best SHIELD episode next to "The Things We Bury" and "T.A.H.I.T.I." The episode and the rest of the series directly ties into Captain America: The Winter Soldier because HYDRA is the main focus of the show and the movie. They even foreshadowed different events including John Garrett fearing death with the "Don't Fear The Reaper" song. They showed Grant Ward as a HYDRA agent rather than a true SHIELD agent, which makes Ward more interesting. The episode really make the show even better through Beginning of the End and season two. The dialogue was well written and full of character development. Hail HYDRA!

The First Deathlok (SPOILER ALERT)
30 November 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is where things get the hang of it. This episode blew me away because it revealed a lot of Ward's past and Garrett's past before his demise in Beginning of the End. The episode revealed a lot before season two. It helped explain why HYDRA is so manipulative. It was not as good as "The Things We Bury" or "T.A.H.I.T.I." or "Turn, Turn, Turn". This episode makes Ward like Terra from Kingdom Hearts and Garrett like Xehanort from the same franchise. Ward is also my favorite character from SHIELD. I think he is much better than Bucky Barnes. This episode also explains the difference between a Night-Night Gun and an I.C.E.R.

Have tons of creative differences, not as good as Samurai Jack or Clone Wars
29 November 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I am a future film writer and director who has deep creative differences from this film. The animation was bad and it was Genndy Tartakovsky's worst work. The jokes were terrible and this movie is not recommended for anybody. It has nothing that Clone Wars or Samurai Jack has. It consider it the worst movie ever in the entire history of the universe. I expected a mature vampire film but Genndy ruined it, especially its upcoming sequel. Genndy needs to work on Samurai Jack again. I love Genndy but he needs to work on his Samurai Jack movie. Selena Gomez was great but she had a better and tougher performance on the Ethan Hawke film Getaway. They should have cast Benedict Cumberbatch as Dracula rather than Adam Sandler.

Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003–2005)

Obviously Genndy Tartakovsky's most famous show
27 June 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Star Wars: Clone Wars from 2003 is Genndy Tartakovsky's (Samurai Jack, Dexter's Laboratory) most famous and relevant show on Cartoon Network because it is based on a famous eight part movie franchise currently owned by Disney (Known for Frozen and Lion King). One fact that intrigued me is that most of the twenty five episodes are three minutes long. This show is also a pilot series to The Clone Wars show from 2008. It combines elements from Episodes II and III as it takes place in between the two movies. It stinks that this show is no longer canon to the current Star Wars canon. This series won all the Emmy awards it got nominated for, thus making this series a must see on DVD. The series does not just combine the elements of not only Star Wars but Genndy's Samurai Jack.

This series is better than I thought!
23 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Agents of Shield is better than you think it is because it takes place in the same universe as the movies like The Avengers. This series is underrated. I have been following the series from the beginning. Don't you see that the plots are connected? For example, the eye implant used on Akela was made by Centipede and after seeing the Winter Soldier, Centipede is made by a SHIELD agent named John Garrett who is a HYDRA sleeper agent. The series also helped us learn about the real truth of Phil Coulson's revival. They made a Guardians of the Galaxy tie-in showing of the Kree. The acting of the series is great and underrated. I like all of the episodes so far, bought the season one DVD and DVRing season two. The series is excellent, just like the movies gets characters from the movies like Lady Sif, Jasper Sitwell, Peggy Carter and Nick Fury. Season two was even better than season one. Season two has a better plot and plot twists. The markings from episode four were blueprints to a city.

Antz is a stinking ripoff!
21 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Antz is a stinking ripoff! I grew up with A Bug's Life when I was young. I saw Antz a few times in 2004 on DVD but this movie should have been rated PG-13 due to the swearing, violence and sexual references. Woody Allen is a good actor and director too. A Bug's Life was conceived before Antz. Antz shows more harsh and communist themes. Even in post 9/11, they forgot to replace the Two Towers with these stinking replacements in a future edition! Antz is not recommended for everybody. Antz should have been made in the first place. Good thing A Bug's Life won the success. Flik is essentially much better than Z. There are tons of animated kids movies but this is a galldurn exception! It has too many similarities to A Bug's Life and it looked like this movie was a stinking plagiarism!

3rd best SHIELD Episode!
9 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This S.H.I.E.L.D. focuses on a more in-depth version of Coulson's revival from the Magical Place episode. This in-depth version makes a whole lot of sense on how Coulson got revived. This episode is also the first to connect to The Winter Soldier movie. My favorite part is the medicine coming from an alien. The alien is confirmed to be Kree. Skye later turned out to be an Inhuman. The episode is well-written, full of character development and establishes some new conflicts. Ian Quinn is an idiot because John Garrett told him to shoot Skye. This episode and series puts the science in "science fiction". It wasn't as good as "Turn, Turn, Turn" or "The Things We Bury".

Best Star Wars Movie!
1 June 2013
This movie is my favorite in the Star Wars series. It also is my favorite prequel of Star Wars. The visual effects and story were well written. General Grievous looks hardcore with cgi. George Lucas did a great job on the third chapter of Star Wars. I recommend this movie after Episodes I and II but before Episode IV. The story was very emotional and showed the ties to the other episodes. Episode VII is coming in 2015. I'm very excited! Episode III takes place 19 years before Episode IV. This is what I like about prequels. I think prequels are easier to make than sequels because it brings a fictional universe to an earlier time period like this.
