Great great show, laugh all the way through
25 September 2004
I got hooked on this show when it was on the Sci-Fi channel. I tried to watch it, along with my parents sometimes, to watch it every Saturday morning. It is so funny, cause I like that kind of quick smart-alic humor, I'm good at it. Thats what it is at our house. But the drawback to getting hooked on it, so my parents say, is now whenever I watch any movie, I do the same thing now. After I started watching MST3K I started cracking jokes when I watched movies. Which at first drove my parents nuts, except my dad would do it too. Now they and my friends just got used to it and go along really. But this show is so funny, I'm sad that no one shows them anymore. Sci-Fi should bring them back.

Now one of my favorite movies

I can not begin to describe how good this movie was. It had everything almost perfectly blended into one movie. There was a little humor, there was sadness, mourning, war, love, action, suspense, drama, there was a little of everything in one story. And what's better, this all seems like it could be true. The battle tactics were pure genius. The cast was perfect, and not just because the 3 main guys are total hunks. (Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom) But they all fit in together great and Peter O'Toole as the father was wonderful. All the actors just fed off each others energy it seamed, which is what they need to do. I just think that this is a movie that will stand the test of time. You sit in the theater and watch it, but you also feel like you are in the movie. There were real people doing the battling, making it feel all the more realistic. It makes you want to grab your spear and shield and get in there and fight for whatever side you're rooting for. Because of these graphic battles though, and the love scenes, it is rated R. So it is not for children, but it is still a great movie.

Not the best, but not the worst.

Yeah, this isn't the best film made from a Steven King book, but I wouldn't call it the worst either. Johnny Depp was good in the role, he fit it well. I also thought John Turturro did very well in his role. He was VERY convincing as a scary, creepy man. I liked the ending too. The movie was creepy, but not as scary as I thought it would be; which was a little disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it still had the disturbing essence of a Steven King flick, so in that it was good. And I just though it was a good movie, my best friend keeps reminding me that Johnny didn't look to bad either. She is a huge Depp fan. I can't say that anyone who sees this will not be disappointed, but my friends and I definitely weren't.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? (1998–2007)
Funny, no matter how many times I see them
25 February 2004
This show is absolutely hilarious!! No matter how many times I see the episodes, i laugh as hard as if I had never seen it. I love improve, and i now like to go watch a local improve group in a town nearby where i live because of Whose Line. I love the show partially because I can act along, I think of things I would do if I were on the show. My family joins in too, we watch it whenever it is on. I think it takes a lot of humor and talent to think up these things. Plus the way Colin Mockery says lines in some of the games it seems like he has all of the one-liners planned, because they are so perfect and intricate. Which makes him all the funnier, because he says this long line and it all leads up to a simple, funny punch line.

So I do believe this to be a great comedy game show. It is probably for the adult viewing audiance though because of it's content and some language sometimes. It is called a game show, but they make it clear in the beginning that the points are worthless, or are they?

Great movie, with a little of everything.

Ever After is a fantastic movie, one I can watch again and again. I'm not one for gushy romance movies, but this isn't one of those at all. It is funny, happy, sad, romantic, dramatic, basically it has a little of everything. Some parts no matter how many time I see them I laugh every time, even if I can quote them too. Drew Barrymore puts on a spectacular performance, it is in my opinion one of her best films so far. You can feel the emotion, and I even cried a few tears twice, (and I hardly cry for movies, except The Horse Whisperer). All the actors and actresses chosen for the cast were perfect fits. Anjelica Huston makes a very believable evil step mother. Dougray Scott is the perfect handsome prince, and has the attitude yet sensitivity required for the role of Prince Henry. Patrick Godfrey made a funny Leonardo, and Melanie Lynskey was perfect for the role of Jacqueline, the quite not-so-bad stepsister. This however is probably more on the lines of a chick flick, but it isn't one that you think of usually when you think of a "chick flick". It was just a great, well rounded movie, that will captivate you into the story again and again. But If you are expecting the traditional Cinderella story that the cartoons and books have brought us, you might be surprised, but not at all disappointed.
