Under the Sun (2007)
Terrific!
Nathan visits places I may never get to see. It's informative and lots of fun! I hope this series runs for a very long time. I truly enjoyed the shows from India, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. The people seemed very friendly and enjoyed showing how they live. Australia, Morrocco and Vanuatu were special as well. In Vanuatu the natives still live like they did ages ago and it was fascinating to see where bungy jumping may have originated. All in all, Nathan Leroy presents and shows how many communities are farming without the use of pesticides...and are thriving. It's an oasis in the oft-time cookie-cutter world of TV. Peace, RB
Cugini (2001)
Review?
jolsen5~ While the film did not win any Academy Awards, it was still a terrific effort that was the culmination of years of hard work and passion. The film WAS enjoyed by the majority of the people who saw it; AND the film did garner a few awards that don't mean anything; but are still a reflection that people liked and appreciated all the work involved in putting a film together (from screenplay, raising the money, to the last day of shooting and everything else involved). FYI, Burt Young has worked non-stop since "Rocky." Most notably in the award winning "Transamerica." There were also a tremendous amount of talented actors (Porn stars? Not in our film but that may be a subject that really interests you) that we were fortunate to have that gave some great performances. Not everyone is going to like your work, that's a part of life and I can take critiques and criticism very well, but your review reeks of to much nastiness and bias. AND... who the hell writes a review of a film they see on public access, considering the only ones who may read it are the producer, director and actors in the film? Who are you, really? You also have not written a SINGLE review for anything else. Sounds sketchy to me. I got your number.
