Teen Wolf (2011–2017)

I am happily enchanted
26 January 2014
I am so pleasantly surprised that MTV has put together a well thought out, full bodied series for a change! I'm so tired of the reality blather that they put out these days. Not only do they no longer play videos for which the whole damn TV channel was made for but the drivel they throw at us insults our intelligence.

So imagine my surprise when I first started watching the series. The characters are well rounded and well acted, the stories are beginning to become more and more interesting and since the series is doing well there budget is allowing for some more money to be thrown at the CGI and production value. I'm surprised people commented so much on the special effects since most of us know they don't put that much into a show until it's a proved success. Who knows, if this was on another network it might not have been allowed the time to find it's audience. Most people overlooked the show to begin with thinking it was a clone of Twilight. Many had to be persuaded to watch the show by friends to let them know that this was not some lackluster Twilight crap. Now into season 3 we're getting a full season. I believe Tyler Posey said that it was going to be 26 episodes which makes me so happy!

I'm sure there are going to be some haters out there thinking that it should be done a little better in areas, but I truly believe the series has proved itself and is deserving of being watched on a weekly basis. Each episode keeps you on the edge of your seat and there are literally cliffhangers throughout the episode, not just at the end of it. And I'm not a doe eyed teenager watching this for shirtless scenes, I'm 42 and I'm just enjoying watching these young actors come into their own and get better with their acting and stunts each episode.

My hope is that this will have a long life, especially since we only got a half of a season out of seasons one and two. The character Stiles is played so well by Dylan O'Brien that I feel he's the breakout of the cast. I can't wait to see what he'll parlay this role into. So regardless of your age, if you enjoyed Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel or Supernatural I feel that this will be right up your alley. Give it a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Cupid (1998–1999)
I couldn't agree more with everyone's comments!!

Cupid was the first and ONLY time that I actually wrote to a network regarding their miserable programming!!!!! Finally there was a good show on ABC, as I do not usually watch this channel, and they canceled it before it could find an audience. Since this series ended I've seen this occur numerous times on several other networks and still get p***ed every time it happens!! I have now relegated myself to cable programming because they will often stick with a good program (when they recognize one) even if the ratings to not meet their needs. When will network executive begin to listen to the consumer who is purchasing (viewing) their product? Does it even matter anymore whether we all watch the shows or not? I'm seriuosly sick and tired of buying a product only to get lousy customer service and the television industry is no exception. Fansites like "Farscape", which was canceled on the SciFi network, have raised $80,000 and are shopping the series to get another station to pick it up. Has it really come to that??
