Super Troopers (2001)
Not funny. And I was high.
An overrated, unfunny, duh-duh-dumb movie. Bad acting, awful timing. Ugh. Who will pay me back for the joint I wasted on this laugh riot? There are better things I could be watching. Like static. Or infomercials. Ya know, just because your friends loved this doesn't necessarily mean you will. Blecch. God, American comedy sucks. I don't think most comedy directors know intrinsically what funny is. Most people are happy with easy gags or drug references. But it takes MORE than that, people, please. If this is what constitutes funny, than no more comedies. Life is much to weird to accept this as fun. I need a drink.
Graffiti Bridge (1990)
A ghastly film with some amazing songs
Graffitti Bridge is a ghastly film. Too much style. In fact the film is all style and absolutely no substance. The "plot" seems to have been thrown in at the last minute. Ingrid Chavez and her acting is a site to behold. Her lines are read as if she memorized them and has no idea what she is saying. The relationship between Morris Day and Jerome is SOO homo-erotic, and then when they 'accidentally' touch each other in the dark and are repulsed to the point of vomiting is truly a homophobe highpoint....AND YET the songs "A Question Of You" and "Joy In Repetition" are amazing gems lost in the crud. Prince spends the entire film looking like Courtney Cox with a beard. A weird dud.
Mac and Me (1988)
Yikes! An atrocity
This film is one of the worst films ever to cross my retinas! Except for the dance scene in McDonalds, which is awesome! But the product placement and the ET xerox is truly horrible. Please ask God for your two hours that Satan took from you.
