Lost in Space (2018)
Families! Give it a shot!
After watching the first episode and reading some of the more negative reviews I have mixed feelings about this show. It is true that the science here can really annoy people who love science-fiction for the lack of science part of the si-fi. In watching episode two the wife says it defies all the laws of physics and husband says maybe someone rewrote them. To me this is an indication that the writers are aware that it's not a science-fiction how we think of it usually. I think that this should be thought of as a family show first,With a science-fiction skin. What I mean is it isn't science fiction proper, it just gets put into the science-fiction genre because there are spaceships. So if you think of it as a family show this isn't really that bad of a show.

Lovecraftian delight
This series is amazing. For those who enjoys works by Lovecraft, you will certainly enjoy this. A group of characters attempt to learn the truth and try to stop the evils that lay hidden in their world. Every attempt that is made to stop a threat is thwarted and those that get too close are destroyed. If the series ends on season two, it ends with the hopelessness of humanity and the impression is left the mankind as a whole is doomed. Great story intrigue, special effects and and Scifi universe consistency. I also enjoyed the dialogue about terrorism from the perspective of average Americans fighting for their beliefs, while battling internal moral dilemmas. I definitely recommend this show.

Really good!
Despite the synopsis, it is actually quite a good film. Those that are into Canadian film in general will appreciate the style -not to mention there are humorous moments that are quite memorable.
The plot itself doesn't get much deeper than the summary, but the scenes themselves are snaps shots; almost like a day in the life of one man.
I was on a flight to Alberta and decided to see what they had under 'french language film'. i was not impressed by "ex-soccer player moves to Montreal and becomes a hit-man" but it was the only one I hadn't seen. I gave it a chance, and am so glad I did!
