The Sea Beast (2022)

When would the Part 2 be coming?
8 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It's a beautiful story similar to 'how to train your dragon'. It's sad to see at least one animal being killed/damaged though, especially such a beautiful gigantic one. I hope to see the part 2 of this movie with the blue monster alive (actually not being killed even though it goes to the deep ocean after the fight).

Wow!

It's a shame that such great movies don't get the credits and the fame that they truly deserve. I don't know what was the duration of the movie, but the story expands in our minds along a much lengthier timeline. A true piece of literature. It's sad that I only got to hear about this movie in 2020. Until that, it was totally hidden underneath all the movies which top the search lists for famous movies.

Undone (2019–2022)

I watched the entire season at one go!

This obviously is one Top Class work with careful thought and incredible power of imagination! It reminded me Alan Wake in some way; but this is a whole different theory with the same level of thrill and curiosity! With all that, the quality of dialogues, quotes, statements... and Bob Odenkirk's special way of expressing things with words... they all go very nicely with the story-making you watch all the episodes at a stretch without taking a break!

Absolutely perfect!!!

A Must Watch TV Series!
5 December 2019
After watching Breaking Bad, it wasn't possible to find another TV series that comes with realistic character development that's truly in line with actual personalities of people and how they tend to evolve with experience. I wonder why someone didn't recommend me until I made an accidental choice. However, the ending of the story made me feel sad, even if it was a Proper ending!

Enemy (2013)

10/10 - It's a reality that exists everywhere!
10 September 2017
I'm not sure whether it is true with all men, but this is a reality that exists for real but people fail to see and understand. The author has nicely presented it using a thrilling storyline. I watched pulp fiction yesterday and suddenly realised that Enemy has been under rated so badly on IMDb compared to that. If pulp is rated as 8.9, Enemy must have at least 9.2 in my opinion.

Men naturally are meant to be free and independent souls, yet they unknowingly get bound to the spider webs of women. It's not that women are always bad or a statement that spread hatred on women for any reason. It is the way that the life is designed and cultures are formed. That spider web is something that exists are men fly into by themselves with feelings such as love, desire, attraction and responsibility. First they live under love and CONTROL of the mother and then fly into the web of love & CONTROL of another woman with the marriage. You feel happy the moment you enter and you believe that you are happy and settled in life as you have someone of your own by your side; but you also feel the discomfort of suffocation underneath and still unknowingly believe yourself to be a happy person. The dreams you had in life are controlled and restricted by the commitments you carry bound to the spider web, and that imaginary version of yourself inside your mind, lives the life you wish for in your dreams. But, NO; now you can't really think of it in your real life and you happen to live the boring 'high school teacher' life repeating the same lesson everyday. Even if you have mastered the knowledge of how world-politics play, you are just a person who has an opinion, yet not someone who could make a difference! The woman you love is not a bad person, of course she worries about you are being happy in life, and she would truly wish if you live being the happiest man ever. But, she doesn't know how to make it happen; because it's the way that the life and culture has been designed. Women wish their sons/husbands to be happy WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES they enforce. But sadly the soul of a man never becomes a happy one when there are BOUNDARIES/DEPENDENCIES to worry about. Some men therefore tend to have a secret key which opens a door to a hidden life of Thiers which also may consist of spider webs and spiders, yet, they may see them as an inverted/up-side-down version of the spiders/web they daily deal with in life.

Time to time, you realise that you need to break the imagination and force yourself to be happy on the spider web which you have chosen! But again you look for that secret key at some point in life, which makes even the spider is one worried person!

Tell me why this movie doesn't deserve over 9.2 on IMDb?

Nobel (2016)

Unbelievably Amazing!!!
8 September 2017
This is the TV series which I felt like adding a review on IMDb for the very first time, especially, even before completely watching all the episodes. Breaking Bad was my favorite TV show ever and I never believed that there would be any other TV series with such amazing casting and character development at that level when it comes to being realistic. But after watching Narcos, I went ahead watching TV dramas made with other languages (other than English); then I found Nobel accidentally and completely started in believing in non- English/non-Hollywood creations.

When it comes to casting and character development, I believe they have done lots of research in studying the common attitudes, behavior, personalities, and psychological background of real people and the actors/actresses are 100% realistic and natural in their acting. Frankly, the quality of their acting is unbelievably amazing; I do not have enough words to express or describe it!!

I wished if I knew the Norwegian language while watching this. Because the composition of dialogues is too good to miss a single word of it. So I have to keep observing the subtitle. And their acting (expressions, gestures etc) is too good to miss by paying attention to subtitles. Everything has been composed in a well connecting manner and the presentation of the story is excellent in every aspect!

These days we tend to watch superheroes, fantasies and unrealistically hypothetical stories. But there are still some amazing people who see things differently and come up with even better stories that connect our day-to-day lives really well with realistic characters! Nobel is obviously one good example for that! This deserves 10/10!!!

P.S: I am a Sri Lankan who comes from a completely different cultural background. But this story feels so realistic and so natural even to me! Therefore, you can imagine how amazing the story, casting/acting and the character development of this is. The actors/actresses deserve serious recognition and in my opinion, Askel Hennie deserves the best actor award in every event I know.
