They made a flashback episode in the first season

My mind boggles everytime I watch this episode. The sheer audacity of it all is something to behold. But its still Fresh Prince.

Trash

Think Ancient Aliens with a bigger budget. Insulting to the viewers intelligence, poorly edited and a big ole pile of BS.

A pleasant surprise of the unpleasant variety.

I honestly did not expect much from this movie. The title had me thinking this would be a by the book slasher, most likely of the B variety. But there is a lot that is special here. Above all else, Bailey Edwards has little to no credentials I can see, yet his performance is worthy of high praise. Another big plus, is the structure of the plot has you guessing the entire time just where reality lies in the mother/son conflict. However, I found Melinda Hamiltons shaky. There were moments when the shot is centered on her face, that I felt taken out of the immersion because I'm not convinced.

The Crew (II) (2021)
Overuse of a laugh track doesn't hide the fact that this show is incredibly unfunny.

Its like the creators of ICarly tried to tap into the yokel market. This show is a comedic black hole

Great concept, botched execution

Its truly unfortunate that casting and production have made this so unwatchable for me, as I think it would be something special in the right hands. The biggest flaw is the performances, which are a notch above high school theatre. And the other major is this feeling of boomers/older gen x in production attempting to utilize a younger culture they don't understand.

This is not horror, this is just simulated snuff. This makes The New York Ripper look like Raging Bull

Christie Burke shines despite a mediocre film

I'm not familiar with any of this actors other work, but this role has made me take notice. This film in itself though is pretty cliche. You will see more than one scene that looks just a little too similar to others from popular films in the genre with no sense of homage.

A healthy mix of humour to reflect the absurdity of the subculture
5 September 2020
Yes, they spawned a subculture, but it was a subculture spawned of angsty youth that took looking metal to their friends to ludicrous extremes. Most media accounts tend to portray this story as something truly evil when it's more like the goth kids from South Park in an escalating game of truth or dare.

Psychotic! (2016)
This movie is so bad, it inspired me to write my first review

If I had to choose between a root canal and watching this film again, I'd open wide. If I had to choose between Toby, Hitler and whoever made this film, Id choose whoever made this film. If I ever see this playing on a screen in the future, I will destroy that screen for the safety of the audience. I would rather see the Kirk Cameron commentary version of Saving Christmas than make my worst enemy sit in front of this film.
