Cuando acecha la maldad (2023)
I don't understand why everyone is so confused on the ending
It's an amazing movie about a post apocalyptic world where demons are being reborn in cities and that a rotten has been found in this once small rural town. The ending is straightforward in my opinion in that his rage overcame him and he kills the Rotten to free the demon. The demon marks him as his follower but leave him with his own free will to punish him. The demon walks off with the children to roam the world and cause chaos and is done with tormenting Pedro and his family. When he gets home he find out his younger son was killed by the mother the night before and the elder son has eaten the grandmother in the meantime. It's easy to understand and at its surface is a very devastating ending. I see a lot of comments giving bad ratings because of an unfinished or confusing ending... I don't think that is the case here and that everything we needed to know is resolved. This movie is very refreshing and I loved every minute of it. That dog scene was hard to watch too 😬.
Ash and Bone (2022)
Anti 2A rhetoric
Man buys a gun to protect his family. Store owner says no paperwork necessary in this town... wtf every FFL requires paperwork and FBI background check or they will get a visit from the ATF ... period. Dumb logic like this in movies makes the public perceive guns are redneck candy. Later the girlfriend says I'm so against guns you need to get rid of it. The daughter tries to shoot one of the killers and sucks and when she does hit her in the arm she runs away... when you have the upper hand you charge and take the kill shot. After killing said bad person in the woods she has the rifle... she could have scoped the other bad guy from 100 yards but instead jumps out and forgoes the element of surprise and decides to wrestle with a man twice her size. Ends up shooting him point blank anyways. I wish horror movies would either not bring guns into the movie... or use them in the storyline properly.
Delirium (2018)
Not Bad for Prime Video Horror
This movie because it came out the same year with the same name as a blockbuster movie is most likely confused as a mockbuster stealing the viewers from the other movie. Also prime video had the IMDb rating of the 5.7 star movie and description. Let's get past this major setback and just levelset and compare to prime video horror flicks. I give this a solid 4. I definitely think the editing was great and the story was a fine bro story of a tall tale we have all had with our bros. It serves it point... I've seen Probly every horror movie on Amazon prime and shutter and Netflix and this ain't bad. But it ain't great... it's just good.
Dave Chappelle: The Closer (2021)
Dave is always on point
Once again Dave cannot be canceled ... this guy speaks what everyone is thinking. Haters just can't cancel him. I hope all 1000 Netflix employees who are threatening to walk out over this stand up show... all get fired lol.
Le chant du loup (2019)
Modern French Movie
I'll start with how I love French films... this is as good as any submarine movie made in the US. Tech is new, protocols are accurate, traditional French film drama is there. A for acting, A for camera, A for effects.
