Oh common people it wasn't THAT bad. OK, yes i can see how this film might rub a lot of people the wrong way, but it's really no worse than any other average B movie in terms of production value / shot footage. The plot actually wasn't half bad if you followed it, and I think Gina has great potential as an actress. She's got great presence on screen, and i don't know what it is about her in a fight scene, but there is just something so REAL about it. I was desperately thinking while watching some of the scenes like - OK Mr. Actor (Ewan for instance) please PLEASE remember YOUR choreography, because if YOU make a mistake and she makes contact, you won't be getting a second chance at life lmao." The way she kicks ass is so damn hot. She is one powerful, beautiful woman for sure - damn. I don't know, I kind of liked it personally. I really hope she doesn't get discouraged by any bad press/opinions. You get this lady into a high production blockbuster and I bet you sparks would fly big time... 3 stars.

very REAL, emotional, intense... WELL DONE!

OK, first off let's get one thing straight here... When Americans do something stupid (which under the Bush administration seems to be more often than not it seems - and YES I can blame the average American for Bush's actions... YOU VOTED HIM IN A SECOND TIME DARNIT!!!, although I KNOW, I KNOW it was a close election... but still!), I am readily glad to blast them on whatever stupid thing they've done this time. But this movie was profoundly REAL and moving and immensely well done, and is NOT AT ALL portrayed as some macho-American patriotic garbage. IF IT WAS, BELIEVE ME I WOULD BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO BLAST THE CRAP OUT OF IT!!! *I believe this movie stayed true and tried to portray (and DID portray) as accurately as possible (with the knowledge and evidence we know and have today) the events of that day as they unfolded... It was scary, intense, emotional, and VERY REAL!!! One of the most interesting scenes i think is when you see the passengers on the plane praying the "hail marry" and "our father" prayers (christianity) because they are scared they might die, while AT THE SAME TIME the hijackers (Muslims) are saying their prayers to Allah because they think they are doing righteous work (or whatever). I thought this was VERY poignant. The things humans do, say, and act upon (ON ALL SIDES!) all in the name of "THIER GOD" I think is total bullshit period!!! Allah doesn't want Muslims to commit murder and blow themselves and innocent bystanders up, and Jesus doesn't want Catholics to go on crusades and try and convert the world!!! Give me a *$%^ing break!!! Get a life everyone!!! Anyways, in terms of the movie... WELL DONE! 5 *'s Peace.

An inspiring, yet heart-breaking film, worthy of being called a real tribute to relief workers and others around the world who try to help others in seemingly hopeless situations and places...

This was a great film! How anyone else can say otherwise is beyond me... I think it is a fine tribute to relief workers and others around the world who both in the present and in the past have risked their lives (and I am sure many a time their sanity) trying to lend a hand in hopeless, horrible places and situations (where people are starving to death, or are displaced because of war, or are dying of preventative diseases, etc. etc. etc.) Angelina Jolie and Clive Owen are spectacular, and portray very well the constant obstacles and risks involved with just SIMPLY TRYING TO HELP OTHERS IN NEED AROUND THE WORLD (whether it be trying to acquire funding from rich and powerful people and countries, or having to negotiate with warlords and governments just to get supplies through, etc., etc.). The movie is never "over-the-top" or "unrealistic" and stays very grounded and real throughout the whole thing. ABSOLUTELY A "10" ON ANY SCALE!
