NOT an 'AP' movie.
11 October 2020
Despite the 'AP presents' title, there is nothing AMERICAN PIE abiiuot this other than a character with the surname Stifler. It ends there. There's no gross out humour okay, there's ONE scene that's good) the characters are believable or likeable (one is a crazy woman we're supposed to route for) and THERE'S NO JIM'S DAD CAMEO! (can't say AMERICAN PIE if he's not there, sorry, it became a goldren rule).

The original script by David H. Steinberg (written way back in 2010) was re-written by some guy who decided to put himself in the movie as the lead's father. He can act... but not write. Sorry.

Bring BackThe ZEITGESIT Films.
11 October 2020
An interesting idea... but all over the place. It's like it doesn't know what it wants to be. It comes across like 3 different films edited over the top of each other. A documentary from the future... the final act of a hacking/revolution movie... an abstract... 'thing' that doesn't go anywhere. The film raised $50K on IndieGogo (I donated, being a fan oof the ZEITGEIST films) I am a filmmaker (look me up) ... there is no reason whatsoever this should cost $50k OR take 6-years to put together though. It's mostly actors in front of a green screen with cheap FX added afterwards. Not $50K's worth. Trust me. Being as this took 6-years to get done, I don't see the planned triogy being completed, or even having a follow up, so my advice to Peter Joseph would be: Bring back what made you, what you do best, ZEITGEIST 4.

Street (I) (2015)
Okay if you're a fight fan
29 May 2016
The movie is about a kid called 'Street' who is threaten by a 'Mr. Big character into fighting for him for free or have his family hurt ... and there is no reason given for him to not go to police through bad writing.

The idea is there, but it's not been though about enough (though the script was re-written by a 3rd writer so maybe she messed it up, who knows?) The biggest problem with this movie is the sound. The music comes in loud and hard when it's not needed and drowns out the actors' dialogue and at other times, when music is playing in the background of the room and it makes sense for it to be loud... you can barely hear it. The sound designer needs to give back their paycheck.

There wasn't any real build up to the finale and some characters were under-written, but if you're a fan of martial arts movies, you'll probably get past it all for a single viewing.

The actors do a good enough job but some acting looks bad at times due to camera placement.

No Badasses, No Showdown
22 June 2015
This is NOT a film. It's just 55 minutes of guys showering and working out with 15-minutes of talking to pass off an excuse for a story.

I'm not even joking. This isn't a troll review, it's serious.

I've posted a breakdown of the film on the 'film's discussion boards entitled "No Badasses, NO Showdown" The DVD cover is to sucker MMA fans into buying it.

Thank God for DVD rip-s and sites like put-locker.

How this guy continues to produce these things is beyond me.

He used to make decent films. Now he just does soft-core gay-porn and puts a 'mainstream feature film' cover on the DVD too sell more copies.
