Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
Underrated Indiana Jones
This summer, so combination of Oppenheimer and Barbie was marketed, where Indiana Jones and Mission impossible were left behind as true blockbuster. I can understand the critics actually dissed this Indiana Jones installment. It has everything you expect from an Indiana Jones movie: whip, hat, kind of snakes, action scenes, humor, incredible story and Nazi villains.
Amazing to see the special effect of making Harrison Ford a younger version in the first part of the movie. I can definitely recommend to watch this movie and is on par with the other Indiana Jones movies.
Time for a new installment of 'Young Indiana Jones' as a series after this last Indiana Jones movie? Why not? It works for Star Wars too.
Young Wallander (2020)
Misspelling of Location of the place of the crimeScene
The name of the place in the news about where the murder took place in the first episode would never be spelled 'Rosengaard' in Sweden but 'Rosengård' with the swedish "o" as å. Only in Denmark and Norway it would be spelled with double aa which is spelled like this roman letters i.e. boarding pass in the surname.
Unga Astrid (2018)
Bring tissues - dramatically wonderful
Having met Astrid Lindgren when I was a child in Zurich, which she visited at the time, I was very much moved by watching this film in the cinema not far away from where I met her in Zurich in the late 80s. I also grew up reading her stories are seeing the films that she created of the stories. This movie is very dramatic and very nice as well, however it moves you to tears to see the story and the pain that she went through in her younger years.
I can highly recommend this movie and I think anyone who has read her books and seen the films should see this film as well.
Fury (2014)
A reason not to go war ever again
A great performance of all actors with an OK story. What the film is mostly about the horrors of WWII and reflection of how the US saved Europe from the horrors of the Nazi regime. It shows how people sacrificed their lives for a greater good. The film does good in showing the gore and is a realistic portrayal of war. It does not take the level higher going deeper in the characters as maybe 'Saving Private Ryan'. Still a good movie and not good for the faint-hearted.
