Amazing ride, this is the Driver when he was young

Great respect to the stunt men and women - one thumb up! It is all just a jet lag.

Convoluted plot, needs more then a one time to watch definitely.

It is a great comedy/satire/irony with many elements of truth and sacrifices that come with the profession. Some viewers might not understand the jokes, and the plot and the innuendoes, because plot is ...

Enjoyable visually- an eye fest- yes! - action scenes-yes!--acting is good, and sometimes maybe improvised? And maybe a love story?

Replayability of the movie over years -almost endless. One to keep in your library.

There are some awesome cameo appearances!

Do not forget to watch the end credits, where they show the actual stunts, and the triple doubles.

Visually astounding historical crap

I think It is a Brit take on "the A-team" movie.

A 21-st century pumped up gym muscle guys are slicing like butter through Nazis. Fun shooting scenes.

German sailors drop out dead like storm troopers in Star wars.

But wait, they are not all Nazis, they're Kreigsmarine, a German navy, which showed a lot of honor and actually respected maritime laws, before war got really ugly, and all warring nations violated the maritime laws.

I enjoyed it, fun to watch with pop corn, but as you understand - totally unhistorical, misleading, yet fun! Movie tries to be semi-serious about itself.

By the way it is not Caesar (Augustus), it is Anthony and Cleopatra at that party!

Cargo 200 (2007)

quite good

Out of so many garbage russian cinema titles we saw the past two decades, this one is not trash and is outstanding. Not just because of a shock value, but the true-like depiction of Soviet Union in 1980s, good script and ok actors. Hell, this movie captivated me to the end. It's worth it.

ARQ (2016)

Unnatural, stale and predictable. Looks like the screenwriter borrowed from few good movies with similar concept. Actors feel like they are reading from a book instead of acting. Good pace though.

Please stop Netflix movies infestation!!!!!!!!

City of Salt (2020)

Editor somehow forgot how to do his job on this movie. Yet it's truly an enjoyable flick, for sure, along with some good acting too! Scenario/story is a yarn.

Midway (2019)

All movie budget went to CGI and not actors

Wow, what great special effects...kind of.. Lots of good scenes, props, effects, script is more or less alright, Love the attention to historical detail What ruins this for me are the actors who are mostly acting or overreacting super below average. someone you'd see on tv or who never made it to tv. And the editing work is weak, you'll spot it right away.. anyways, I know its Midway, I'm supposed to be patriotic, but this crap just doesnt cut it. Re-watch Pearl Harbor instead.

Les Misérables (2012)

Cinematic-performance wise - great. NOT the singing.

Well, opening sequence was awesome, that is until I heard Russell Crowe sing. Never again let him do high pitch again and why director made actors sing who can't sing is beyond my understanding, especially in a musical, duh.

Performance was over the top great from ALL the actors, Sacha Baron appearance - great success!

• Russel performs greatly, though cant sign well higher tones.

• Jackman, can sing and perform, good job man. - Hathaway sings well and over-performs as always, unattractive as she is, she gets the job done.

Overall, I really like musicals, most of songs are under average standard, only few of them are great tunes with unique melodies, and I think I heard ABBA here too.

My recommendation - if you like musicals with almost no dialog, watch this, great cinematic experience. Music orchestra IS awesome.

Crowd song signing is actually the best. Costumes and clothing - almost PERFECT.

And for the real experience, please watch 1998 movie, Les Miserables with Liam Neeson.

Drive (I) (2011)

Quite a good ride, nevermind the misguided reviewers

OK, I believe the movie deserves a solid 6.6 or 7 score.

The little screaming reviewers here saying movie is "too slow", "overrated", "silent" or "too violent" can go review cliché usual action or buy a bag of popcorn for summer sessions.

I think the movie does create a certain culture, certain feel and uniqueness. Ryan Gosling's performance was top notch as usual, (therefore high ratings too) movie just takes you for a good inner characters ride.

It is exactly that kind of a movie where the less dialog and words - the better.

Deserves a very good watch, it just might put you into a short term depression a bit.

Taken 2 (2012)

Painful to watch if you expected what was in the original

What a load of nonsense this one is. Descent action movie, though a terrible, hollow, empty sequel.

All the camera work and action-like scenes are there, but they turned it into a standard exhausting Hollywood action movie formula. How could Besson write this repetition? Now, biggest load of b.s - its a cliché of a movie mimicking the original, but its all in reverse now!

Make your own daughter throw actual grenade by instructing her over the phone? What a nice overprotective father who cares so much. Script is total waste.

Be ready for a lot of repetition from the original, mirror like scenes.

Director/writer figured what made original a success, we going to stick to it with a cheap twist.

TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.

Prometheus (I) (2012)

Very not bad

Actually, people giving this movie a bad review might be angry religious people,( the idea of maker being extraterrestrial in nature) or people who expected all the answers in the movie.

Good cast, good acting, great effects, and - of course - very original story, something you have not seen or heard before. Whoever complains about lack of complete story or ending, go watch the movies you are used too - a happy end Hollywood movie that makes sense for kids and is predictable.

Good work was put into this movie, and it WILL BE a must see sci-fi classic sooner or later.

Is that tobacco in the respirator? - classic line right there.
