Mother's Day (2023)

Ten out of ten!

Loved and enjoyed this movie a lot!!!

The theme of this movie is nothing new: a mother with a (at first) unknown past is trying to save her son (who does not know that she is his mother).

Having said that, this movie has a lot to offer:

The movie has witty dialogues and terrific action scenes.

The lead actress is stunning! Her acting is believable, exceptional and nearly impeccable.

The other actors are also doing a decent to unexpectedly refreshing job.

The cinematography of the movie is unprecedented.

Go watch this terrific movie! It is really a pleasant surprise in the Polish movie scene!!

My dad found this series recently and we are both mesmerised. It shows people with autism beautifully. Not just one side, thinking there's only one version of autism (like a lot of Hollywood productions did and do unfortunately). It depicts different facets, different problems for neurodivergent and for neurotypical people. And how we can live with each other, find compassion and understanding through simple acts of kindness and empathy.

I highly recommend this to everyone!

that about sums up the whole movie.

after i saw the trailer i was expecting something thrilling, unexpected and new. but the movie really disappointed me.

the scenery, the house, etc. were beautiful and very pleasing to the eye, but the rest was deficient.

i am surprised this movie has so many positive reviews.

that nathan would be killed by his AI was so predictable, i nearly clawed out my eyes. and one thing i don't understand is - why did ava left caleb alone in that house?? i mean he HELPED her. this really bugs me.
