First comment on here, just watched this and I need to say this movie is a complete waste of time.
While it does have beautiful elements, like panoramic shots, scenery and a quite lovable dragon, the plot of the movie seems picked from a particularly nasty feminist wet dream. Centered around the idea of presenting afairytale with a "strong female lead", the story follows a princess who falls victim to a royal cult-like family and has to embrace the "strong woman within" to ultimately survive.
The notion of combining elements of fantasy fiction with more modern themes such as survival, while posing a very original and interesting avenue, is handled completely wrong here. At some point, I was pleasantly surprised to find our lead crawling through a cave, reminding me of the great film " The Descent", hoping that this could be a great touch, but apparently the " strong girl" vibes had to come out on top, with utter ridiculousness ensuing.
My God, I knew Netflix films are usually trash, but this was just unbearable.
