She's absolutely awful. She was in charge. It's like she's never read a comic book or seen a Marvel movie in her life. She's terrible! Get someone who isn't too lazy to do the homework on the previous movies and the comics, please!

I love the series. I hate how they filmed this episode. I get it is some kind of test to see how these episodes go but if they do another like this it will be the last I watch of this series - which will be a shame.

Love The Show, Hate Nancy

The show was well written and well cast - EXCEPT for Nancy. A terrible mother and a worse person - but somehow makes her way as the protagonist.

Worst Chase Scene in Television History

Chasing a Tesla that's supposedly in auto pilot but clipping along well above the speed limit and crazy pants behind the wheel of the truck almost wrecks twice trying to get ahead of it on an abandoned road.

Before that, worst door breach I've ever seen. It's like they have no consultants whatsoever.

Altered Carbon (2018–2020)

Better Than The Book

I don't say this often, but the series is flat out better than the book. It just works. You'll see some die-hard snobs criticize the series because of the ways it diverges from the written base - but frankly, the changes made it better.

Most Poorly Written Contribution of the Entire Franchise

Shame on Rian Johnson! This movie had some of the best tools available and Johnson turns it into a platoon of abortions on rails. The story would have been better if you'd have set a monkey at a typewriter. It was so bad it made the prequels look good. Disney would be wise to never let this guy near anything remotely related to Star Wars in the future. I get the idea that trying to cater to a fan base is a no-win battle - but this writing was just so abysmally lazy...

Rian Johnson Chokes

Rian Johnson had access to the best special effects studio in the world, world class acting talent, a studio with a seemingly limitless budget, and a franchise that has stood the test of time with religious followers numbering in the billions...

...and he choked. Miserably. With just flat out lazy, terrible writing. The dude should be banned from future Star Wars projects.
