I found it was a good movie... Well at least it's a movie that i've been able to watch till the end which didn't happen to me for a very long time. Dirty little secrets of Hollywood are exposed. You can be sure that some of the stories told here are true or partially true. Actors are great... especially Julianne Moore, who, i'm sure, must have given a lot of her own personality to the horrible character she played. Julianne Moore appears more & more naked in her movie the more she grow older... Weird... This movie mustn't be seen by everybody and is not for everybody... it's very dark.. especially the last part of the movie. What else ??? See it.. make your opinion.

I think the battle of Dunkirk isn't a good base to make a good war movie. Globally, the battle of Dunkirk is the retreat of allied forces from Dunkirk to Britain under german attack. It's not a good subject to make a good war movie. Retreat is not cinematographic. The movie is far from being a disaster... but it's not exciting at all. In the great war movies you find moment of excitation, moment of fright.. not in Dunkirk. Globally i found the film rather dull. & i think i'm not a great fan of Nolan.

Ridley Scott is too old, he should retired.

I am not sure Scott is such a great director. I find him very overrated to be honest. Scott is a master for the image... but he's not a great storyteller. This movie proves it again. Maybe ridley scott is getting too old too.. Time for him to think about retirement. I think he should stop cinema & start taking care of his grandchildrens.
