Break Point (2023)
Bring back Edmund Butt - Season 1 OST was MUCH better!
First of all kudos to the production team. This documentary brought me back to my childhood passion. I grew up watching Boris Becker and Steffi Graf.
The way the first season evoked emotions really touched me. I realized the composer Edmund Butt has a huge role in this. It actually is the best soundtrack I listened in the last couple of years. Just amazing atmosphere created by the music. I am actually hooked by it and looking for the OST but not able to find it anywhere. So please bring back Edmund Butt. Composer in the second season cannot fill his place.
Besides the music, I loved how the series often touch upon the mental aspect of the tennis game. I feel like I am watching a Tony Robbins kind of content.
Fauda: Episode #4.12 (2022)
Prayers both in Hebrew and Arabic
I think the final scene summarizes the entire series. Doron praying both in Hebrew and Arabic. It is a calling for the peace between Abrahamic religions.
I have been both to Palestine and Israel. There are so many things these peoples have in common and I hope the brotherhood overwhelms the conflicts one day.
I do not usually finish series until the end but Fauda world is so real and also much more in proximity than other Netflix series (I live in Turkey).
Well done and kudos to Lior Raz, who is not only a great actor but a great writer too.
Would like to see Season 5 and I hope at least some of the team members survived.
Vikings (2013)
Overrated
I started the series based on a recommendation.
I hardly on the reached episode 4 (of season 1).
So many plot holes. Weird stories. Trying to original I guess.
Just one example. If the priest was with the band reaching England, why he did not translate between the Sheriff and the Vikings?
Insulting the intelligence of the audience.
Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan (2021)
Repetitive content is irritating
I love Japanese culture and the way of the samurai.
This documentary has a good merge of experts speaking and story telling with good cinematography.
Nevertheless, we hear the same sentences, even paragraphs or scenes given to us over and over again.
It's like they tried to save some from the production's budget. Looks very cheesy.
7 because of respect!
Tehran (2020)
Authentic
I normally do not watch TV series. But I am hooked by it. I have been to both countries, and I like both languages.
I hope the message of the story comes up as peace in the middle east.
The Irishman (2019)
As bad as the curses in the lines
What a waste of 3 hours of my time. Flat plot. No suprises. I watched it until the end, hoping something interesting or touchy coming up. Nothing.
I think there should be no more movies like that.
And Oscar Nominee? Are you kidding me?
