The Buried Secret of M. Night Shyamalan (2004)
One way or the other
Either way, I'm not very concerned about any fiction or fact portrayed in the 'doc'. I'm more interested in 'reading between the lines' or even 'seeing between the frames'. The potential purpose of the film, it would seem, coincides with the other cinema films done with M.N. Shyamalan, to an extent. They tend to lead your mind to a specific area where it can flourish with ideas and possibilities, not that the ideas formed are intended, but that you go to that place and form ideas, is the intention. I believe this is one of the greater, and more useful purposes of art (sometimes more dangerous), whether it is music, film, writing, sculpture, painting, or even teaching. True artists have a way of 'sharing' a feeling, or allowing one to produce a feeling for themselves. One way or the other that is my own 'mission' of sorts, to create some work(s) that may alter or invoke a response from some other perception other then my own, but still allow for the observation of my intended perception. Both sides of the coin I suppose...if I make cents at all...
