San Andreas Mega Quake (2019)
Epic! None better
The graphics and special effects are first rate.
Hollywood needs to stand up and take notice.
2012 and San Andreas ain't got nothin on this baby.
I see oscar nods all around.
I would've included spoilers but why?
See for yourself.
...such is sarcasm...
Designated Survivor (2016)
Season3 teaches a great way to ruin a good shoe
I'm flabbergasted as to the sudden need to use vulgarity in the 3rd season.
Did the actors get really miffed at their own show that they took to unnecessary f bombs.
ALL the actors showed class further first two seasons. Then all of a sudden they're all talking potty mouth.
What was so wrong previously that the writers would think HEY! Let's add vulgarity to the scripts, that'll save the show, for sure!
After peacefully watching the 1st two, the 3rd season has been such an in-your-face insult, just the inclusion of the vulgarity is more of a turn off than what the episode's plots can overcome.
Shame on the writers.
They tried to fix something that wasn't broken.
La trêve (2016)
Ok, but...spoilers
It was ok watching but the detective is a bona-fide psycho. He sees dead people, he assumes every single person on the show is guilty, until there's no one left to blame but the actual bad guy.
He's a total nutjob.
He should've been smart enough to remove him from the force at the first sight of the images in his mind.
Hard Sun (2018)
Police drama, period. No science.
What a waste of time.
There are so many police dramas to watch, and even at this show's premise centered solely on that, this show would hardly hang on.
I was drawn to the show by its title. Something is wrong with the big boy in the sky. The thing is, the show takes a pass on the science of the problem. I don't believe I saw one episode of a telescope or lab, or computers working the problem. The show basically just centers around a bunch of cops trying to keep the peace while doom - sayers run around like chickens with their heads cut off...or doing the same to unknowing victims.
This is the most UNSCIENTIFIC show I've ever watched.
What a letdown.
Flint Town (2018)
These guys have a tough job, but...
I've been watching this show. I have a lot of respect for law abiding officers.
Those who feel they are above it, well, that's another story.
I have a lot of respect for the officer who felt Rodney King was treated fairly. Not so much the others who claimed the video was cut, so they defended the King beating.
Also, the new Chief of Police said 'this is our town, we're gonna take it back'. With all due respect sir, no it is not. It is the citizen's town. What you should be saying is 'this town belongs to its law abiding citizens and we're going to give it back, to them'.
Another thing that was said 'if they have their pants hanging down, we'll arrest them for indecent exposure'. While I feel this is a disgusting habit, I doubt it falls under indecent exposure, no less than a woman wearing a bikini or a man going shirtless.
Just one other thing...is it actually illegal to sell single cigarettes...to the pint of shutting down a business? It's like the store can sell a six pack but not singles. What does selling one cigarette harm? A customer could just as easily buy a pack and sell them individually, no? I guess Flint has some tough laws on single cigarettes.
And I feel bad for the officer who didn't get to go to detective status.
The show is great, but all the bad is NOT on the streets.
Touch (2012)
Keifer's voice, Jakes behavior
I cannot bring myself to deal with Keifer's voice. What the hell? Does he not know how to speak in normal volume instead of whisper loudly? He ruins this show. And Jake, what a totally misbehaved little brat. Can't stand being touched, runs away at any moment, needs to be held until he gets over it. Needs to be institutionalized for his own safety. I like the show, otherwise
Blindspot (2015)
Good show, but...
Something about this show got me hooked. I enjoy all the acting except for Marianne Jean-Baptiste. She ducks the life out of every scene in an effort to steal it for her own glory. She ruins the show. You know those little bobble head dolls? Yeah, so she's one of those, except that little spring inside is broken. Every time she speaks her head falls to the side, bobbles around while she's talking. Irritating af. However, when she finishes her dialog, her head amazingly pops back up to the vertical. That quirk ruins the entire show. Otherwise, I enjoy it immensely.
