A Spoonful of Sugar (2003)
This film explored a unique way of discussing HIV to teenagers
A spoonful of sugar has proven to be a creative and valuable way to open up discussions on the topic of HIV for my family. Viewing this explosive hit that aired on Show Time allowed me and my family to take a long and serious look at the everyday life and situations that our young teenagers are faced with. A Spoonful of sugar starring a young actress by the name of Noelle Gift (aka Patrice) who played the part as believable as can be with those big eyes of innocence totally grabbed me. I take my hat off to the director Andrea Williams for creating a short film packed with the essential ingredient necessary to capture and teach audiences the importance of safe sex and open communication with our children. I really enjoyed this film. Thank You.
