Force 2 (2016)

A Treat For Action Lovers But Logic Is The Missing Ingredient

Force 2 is a pure Action film in concentrated form. It is a watchable film with more action, more style & less substance. Cinematography is good. I like the first-person camera fight in the climax, which is new in Bollywood.

Abhinay Deo's direction is perfect in chase scenes. The most interesting element in Force 2 is Tahir, the bad guy. John is perfectly suitable for these roles. Sonakshi is also good in supporting role.

I am giving 1 extra point because this film gives justification to it's genre.

VERDICT: If you are an action lover......GO FOR IT

Tum Bin II (2016)

A Sequel With Similar Plot Lines

The best part of this movie is location and music. Anubhav Sinha wanted to recreate the magic of his 2001 surprise hit but failed. Story is very much familiar. Acting of the lead characters are not convincing.

Main drawback of Tum Bin 2 is bad characterization of the leads and plot. Their was a boldness in Pia (Sandali Sinha) and maturity in Shekhar (Priyanshu), which is missing in Tum Bin 2 and I personally missed Mili's (Amrita) character.

Neha Sharma looks beautiful, as always. Ashim & Aditya needs to learn a lot. Sandali Sinha appearance was surprising. There is additional treat of Jagjit Singh's voice that joins Rekha Bhardwaj.

BEST DIALOGUE : Jab Rona Aaye To Foot K Rolo, Or Jab Pyaar Aaye To Gale Laga Lo

VERDICT: No can create the magic of Tum Bin(2001) again, not even Anubhav Sinha.

Doctor Strange (2016)

VFT at it's best & the seeds of Inception (2010 movie) finally sprouts

This is the Marvel's first complete fantasy movie. The first 10 minutes of the movie will win your heart but again the same issue i.e. Story.

Story of the movie is very simple and script is poor. Director fails to develop the character of Doctor Strange and even forgot to think about side characters of the film. As always, Benedict plays his part very well but Mads Mikkelsen's (Hannibal fame) part in a negative role is flat and totally wasted.

People will remember Doctor Strange in parts & not as a whole movie.

Last Words: It's an visual experience.....go and enjoy on big screen

Shivaay (2016)

Perfect Marketing for the Old Drama

Except the scenery, there is nothing to watch in the latest Singham star.

Ajay Devgan hits the screen with one more unwatchable action drama under his direction. He is there in every single frame of the film to carry out the burden the worst screen play of the decade. Abigail Eames delivers a powerful performance as a mute girl. Background score is also good and action scenes are watchable.

Saurabh Shukla, Girish Karnad & Vir Das are total waste. Worst part of the movie is EDITING. Story is simple but too stretched. Cinematography is good.

Last Words: Go watch this, only if don't have anything else to do...

Kai Po Che (2013)

This kite will fly very in the sky

This Kite is very high in the sky. An ordinary story with extraordinary acting, screenplay & direction. This flick has once again proved that start cast should be the last ingredient. It is an adaptation of 3 Mistakes Of My Life, with much fresh content. All the characters are well placed and every single part is believable. Sushant Rajput delivers one of the best debut performance of Bollywood. Yadav plays his role with expression with minimum dialogues. Govind & Amrita is just perfect in their roles. Abhishek Kapoor is brilliant as he knows his job very well. Cinematography is awesome using very fine detail. Screenplay has a novelist touch(Bhagat's touch). Last words: Bollywood is going in right direction. Go and appreciate this perfect job.

Special 26 (2013)

Intelligent Script With Best Performances

After A Wednesday, Neeraj Pandey is back with an intelligent script on a true life incident against corruption. It is a story of con men who looted black money of politicians, bureaucrats and businessmen by posing either as CBI or income tax officials. Power of this flick lies in tight script with a last minute twist. This is a perfect answer to Ocean franchise, we can expect sequel as well. After a long time, Akki shows his acting talent in totally new avtaar. Anupam & Jimmy plays his role very well. Manoj is full of power & very well lifted his role. There is no need of female character in script. Loose Point: songs, as there is no need to waste 10-12 precious minutes. Best Dialogue: Asli Power dil me hoti h. Last Words: It is an intelligent movie with best performances. You would not regret watching.

Vishwaroopam (2013)

A brilliant Movie...one of the best in its genre.

A brilliant Movie...one of the best in its genre. It is a result of rigorous research on terrorism. Kamal Hassan means his business. He brilliantly shows fight between Jihadis(as per current media language) and Americans, & also successfully put pain and anguish of the Muslim community, where dreams of youngsters to become doctors or engineers are crushed under the debris of American bombings. It is a technically high movie with brilliant cinematography and editing. Narration of the story is perfect but climax is not that edgy as expected. Kamal Hassan has 3 roles to do in his film- A Kathak dancer, Terrorist trainer & A Spy. And he plays all characters brilliantly with his method acting but as a Spy, he looks aged. Rahul Bose does an excellent job in his negative character. Pooja Kumar & Sekhar Kapoor does a very good job. Best Dialogue: Afghan Woman in village destroyed by air raid: First it was the British who came, then the Soviets, the Americans, and now the Taliban. What are men but just monkeys with tails in the front. Last Words: Don't miss this action thriller but go with a mature mind.

Race 2 (2013)

Go for crazy action & thrill, not for twist & suspense

Revenge is a dish, best served cold. Abbas-Mustan is back with their patented ingredient of Suspense Thriller(More of thriller this time) & they serve it cold. It is a action-packed entertainer. It is a type of movie where different people will have different opinion. First half is very good with excellently shot chase scene(first of its kind in Bollywood), twist & turns(not like Race), action(fist fight in 2nd half), grey shades characters, glamor and of course countless money. But in 2nd half their is no suspense like Race(2008) with lots of loopholes . Climax Plane scene is not effective as expected. Be ready for RACE 3 as story is left open. Direction is good. Cinematography in awesome. Script is not as tight as expected. Except Ameesha, everyone is perfect in their roles. This time Saif outperform Abraham with mature dialogue delivery. Abraham Both girl looks really stylish & charming. Anil justifies his role completely. Last Word: Go for crazy action & thrill, not for twist & suspense.

Mumbai Mirror (2013)

Nothing New To Watch...

We have seen this story many times before like in Dabangg, Ardh Satya, Singham but all above were well directed or at least have top Start Cast but here bhindi Bazaar Inc fame director is not able to put the point he wanted to. It is a story of a Cop who has a dirty past, trying to fight against all -ve in his own way. It is a amateur attempt to show corruption in Cop world & to differentiate mass killing and encounter. Script has many twists and has good start where main character hurts his back and spends the rest of the movie in pain, which remind us that filmy heroes are also human. Editing is below par, cinematography is OK in last song only. Clothing style is like showing nudity in B grade movies. Sachin Joshi dialogue delivery is really worst but at least better then his first flick. This time his acting has touch of Emraan Hashmi Touch. In Supporting role Mahesh play his part very well but director is not able make full use of talent of Murder 2 fame Prashant Narayanan. Prakash Raj is repetitive in his character. Aditya Pancholi has nothing much to do. Vimala looks pretty & Sudesh impresses. Last Words: This is a movie specially for single screen... nothing new to watch for.

Inkaar (2013)

A big Inkaar for Inkaar.....

Sudhir Mishra is back with yet another sensible adult topic "Sexual Harassment" & it is a rare topic in our Hindi Cinema. Start is really good but later Manoj Tyagi's script confuse viewers. Director is not able to touch the depth of the seriousness of this topic. Even charters are also confusing. Actors are not able to cop-up with the intensity of roles, even Deepti Naval does not look promising but its really nice to see her back on silver screen. Cinematography is good but problem lies in editing specially in climax during intense scene between Arjun & Chidrangada in bathroom. Arjun does well by his effortless acting but not good in emotional scenes.....outstanding performance Arjun Rampal... Chitrangada looks freaky hot and is above par in acting. Deepti Naval doesn't justify her role. Last Words: Story is good...but you can wait for DVD to come...

Khiladi 786 (2012)

Worst Strike By Khiladi Ever

Welcome + Namaste London(some part & song theme) = 786, a poor strike by Khiladi. It is a wonder that we still are making films like this. It has just the brand KHILADI in correlation with earlier movies. It is entirely old story by Himesh with a little change in masala. This is the 2nd time this year, where Akshay tries to be Salman. Nothing new in his acting. It is a scary nightmare that Akshay will come back with more films like this because I am sure that films like this will earn money. In first half, flick has some mindless comedy & action scene but 2nd half has only scenes(no action, no comedy & no story too). Asin has tried to do nothing new. Himesh is better then his previous roles. Rest is OK. Last Words: Go for this flick, if you are a die-hard fan of Akshay.

Talaash: The Answer Lies Within (2012)

This time Mr. Perfectionist is not able to deliver what we expected

A Mystery which doesn't need much brain. This time Mr. Perfectionist is not able to deliver what we expected. Suspense flicks are meant to keep the viewers stick to their seats and make them to think about climax but unfortunately everything is predictable here. The biggest surprise revealed in the end also not make you jump as you easily grab it out few moments before. Story narration is very slow, specially in first half and even in the second half nothing is new. Its more of a drama then a Suspense-Thriller. However, it is a one time watch, as it has all the great actors in one screen. Direction is good, Detailing of scene is missing. Rest is OK. Aamir, as always dominate the film with a all-round performance. He is perfect in emotional scenes but we still expect more out of him. Rani & Kareena, both are superb in their roles, though we saw both of them in similar roles in past. Best performance of the film comes out from Nawazuddin Sidiqui. Last Words: In this era, its all about Marketing. This is not what we wanted to watch Aamir Khan....

A Perfect Mirror Of Disturbing Reality In Our Countries Colleges

So, here is the review of first release of the 100th year of Indian cinema and its well crafted film that ends with a sensible twist. It is a suspense thriller with a unique concept of Tell All Truth game as well as complex dark past stories. There are 8 questions asked by mysterious Mr Khan(Paresh Rawal) for a reward of 21 Crores and each question is followed by a difficult task. Script is successful in making you think till the last scene but lacks direction as Aditya Datt is not able to handle performances of actors and not bale to make memorable. Rajeev Khandelwal is getting very choosy in selecting movies but its applauding. Paresh is full of style but not able to create fear as demanded by character. Tina is OK....a long way to for her. Last Words: Concept is interesting with a sensible social message. It is a mirror of disturbing reality in our countries college.

Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013)

A Perfect Political Satire by Vishal

Movie starts with an educative song and then it touches a new height with every new scene. It is a dark comedy on problems faced by farmers in India where script never looses focus. Every situation as well as line is written with a logic. From the very first scene Pankaj Kapoor rules and crosses heights of acting. We can easily recall his best work in movies like "Ek Doctor Ki Maut" & "Maqbool". Best Scene: Vishal's direction in the scene where the drunk Pankaj and Imran tries to move a well from one place to another, only because they are unhappy with its current position, is superb. Clever Shooting angels, tight script, superb acting takes this flick to the next level. Shabana is very convincing in his role and delivers best dialogue of the movie where she explain how a Politician use people to be powerful. Arya Babbar's innocent acting is also remarkable this time. Anushka is at her best too & looks cute as ever :) . Loose Points: Beard Imram khan who is not able to match up against other top class actors. Vishal is not able to give a sensible ending. Last Words: just go for it.....
