For the People (2018)
Clever, witty and thought provoking
Such a shame it was cancelled. It was an updated LA Law and very engaging. Beautiful people with stories lines that made one think.
Frozen (2013)
Great movie
Absolutely loved this. Doesn't matter what age you are. Songs are great and so are the singers!
Frozen II (2019)
Great story.
This was SO much better than I expected for a follow up. Loved the new songs. All round great entertainment.
After Life (2019)
Didn't think Series 2 would surpass Series 1 but...
He did it!! It's superb. A rollercoaster of emotion. So intuitive. A masterclass in the study of ... well... people - just people. Penelope Wilton is exquisite. Robison Conaty is a pleasure. Kerry Godliman is always so real and Ashley Jensen - well it wouldn't be the same without her. Not a weak performance among them!
The Handmaid's Tale: Heroic (2019)
Superb
I was riveted. The use of Heaven is a Place on Earth is brilliant! Yes, we all have different tastes but I don't understand what the low markers want? This has never been a fast paced story. It is beautifully handled and shows her strength in that she keeps going!
When They See Us (2019)
Superb and deeply important!!
Never too late to make sure we don't forget! Superbly acted and crafted by Ava duVernay!! It is essential viewing.
Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
Can't stop watching it!
A previous reviewer said that it makes you wish you had been alive then, well I was and it was amazing. I was at Live Aid and it was as mesmerising, uplifting and captivating as the film portrays. It's beautifully told - a mixture of fiction and fact. The main facts are there - he did have trouble with microphones until one fell apart and his signature top half of the stand was born - he did have a sore throat on the day of Live Aid and probably shouldn't have sung. All characters are exquisitely portrayed. My heart leapt when Kenny Everett appeared - the voice of my teenage life - when there was only in Capital Radio! Watch this film. You won't regret it!
