Terrible message
30 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Very disappointed in this episode. " In every man, there is a gay man? " Nope. Not true. Just seems like it was added to give the show an edge? I hope boys and young men do not believe this. There's already too much pressure without an episode like this. I found it disturbing. Hopefully it did not influence any behavior that would not have occurred otherwise. I don't think I can feel the same way about the actors that portrayed the main characters. I know this show challenges people to think differently, but this influence goes too far. The poor wife and son. The whole thing episode needs to be eliminated from the series.

Just tap out; diner say you're having a heart attack
30 August 2023
There is NO way that a contestant was approved and went in with 35% heart function. He had NO cardiac symptoms. He had the camera set up for his rescue team. I wish people were vetted better and didn't tap so soon. I wish they'd just say-it's not for me, or I'm hungry. Would love follow-up shows for all contestants. Would love to know how they spent the money and where they are now. Seems like there are too many camera angles for them. It to have an extra cameraman out with them. Also it seems like they could get basic first aid without tapping. I'm not sure I believe they are really at risk. No one has gotten eaten yet. Lol.

Many episodes much more enjoyable. Wish they'd bring back the original cast too. Takes quite a bit of dedication to watch this series all the way through. Damsel in distress. Lol. Over and over again. XxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxXxxxxxxxx.

Editing

Girl wipes blood on blouse but it's not there in the next scenes. Good story. I thought it was a good idea, but quite a bit was given by just the main characters talking.

The brother's white jumpsuit was zipped at first but then after looking at Jack, it wasn't. Numerous references to Ryan being married and her stepdad, but she said her mother's boyfriend.

Body cam footage difficult to watch
6 December 2021
This was one of the poorly written episodes. The acting was not up to par either. Some of the actors sound as if they are reading from cue cards. Watching the body cam footage is nauseating as it moves back and forth so much. Many cliche and predictable moments. Unrealistic outcomes.

Daughter's Name different pronunciations
29 October 2021
The name is Tamara, but different people pronounce it differently through the episode. Very familiar storyline. Some of the acting was poor. Script could have been tighter; still enjoying the show though Would rate this season an 8 so far. . Was very fascinated by the negotiating that I read about with a US show called Cold Case, and how it came to be. If given a chance, I encourage viewers to read the history of the show.

I've tried to watch several Coben films. The ADR is horrible. I like this one just for the actors.

What does he do to his face? Botox? Does not seem normal.

Glad to point out families like the Duggar's have definite problems.

Why in the world would casting put Sklyer Shaye as Teri Polo's daughter. Terrible dialogue; terrible acting; terrible storyline.

Professor T. (2015–2018)

Would have given ten stars if not for third season
25 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Such an extraordinary, original show! Was not sure if I'd enjoy reading subtitles, but the music, plot, and characters made it worth it! Keon De Bouw is a phenomenal actor. The series would not have been the same without the lovable and quirky Ms. Sneyers (Goele Derick). Loved the interplay between Annelies and Daan. Although Paul Rabet added somewhat to the series, I didn't appreciate some of his acting or his storyline at times. I also thought Carry Goossens as the Dean was a valuable part of the cast. The writing was very good most of the time with surprises and a unique perspective. Even though the third season brought some chuckles and tears as well as revealed the Professor's story, I felt it was very weak, because of the casting and storyline of Saskia. With only three seasons, it would have been so wonderful to keep Annelies as the Chief Inspector. I loved her relationship with her father. Her facial expressions and empathy towards victims were well worth watching. Saskia is way too over-the-top and unbelieveable. I would have watched ten more seasons had the original first season cast less Rabet been involved. Very enjoyable though and highly recommend Seasons 1-2.

Another boring husband/wife Hallmark movie. Another poor planning--hide the pregnancy of the main female character! Please===casting has to do better. There are so many great actors that could play roles for Hallmark. Stop using the same ones over and over.

Cannot recommend
25 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoy the Mowry twins. They always seem to have such enthusiasm. This was not the right movie though. No romance. Casting mismatch. All supporting actors besides the little girl were not believable. I actually thought Duane Henry was a an athlete trying to act; I was surprised to see his credits. This just wasn't the right role for him; although he's handsome and likeable. I did like Tia's boss. Had the same predictable ice skating; tree buying; interrupted first kiss, but did like the giant gingerbread house idea. Was actually surprised to see that the other chef was a French-Canadian actress; I thought her accent was strange.

One of the better Hallmark movies
25 December 2018
Nice to see Harriett Winslow!!! Also very good to see J Bennett in an acting and non-hosting role; I like this side of him better. Seems he has to be too silly for Food Network to please the execs there. He did a good job in this film. Nice to see Anne Sward too. Some supporting actors, as usual, are weak.

Poor Acting
26 November 2018
It's always a good thing when a Hallmark movie actually features new actors; so many of them are repeat performers; however these actors were not good at all. So predictable.

This is one movie that hit home!!! Absolutely love the NC ties. Great story. Highly recommend. Wonderfully acted and written. In a world of chaos, we need these simple, downhome stories to remind us about what really matters: family. Don't miss out on this one.

Beautiful cinematography. Like that it was not too young a couple. Was curious to know if it's fall in the States; why it would be Spring Break in Australia? Appreciate the simple, clean movies of Hallmark.

Disappointing

Really thought this would be better with Shemar Moore. Need new writers and a real SWAT team to consult. Kept looking to see if Shemar was the producer with the way he is featured as super hero. I supported a feature film of his on a crowd-funding site and never saw rewards or the result. Ugh.

Why? Always looking to make Elizabeth die---- lol. NO ONE would have a tube down their throat for almost a year. Where are your consultants? And---so violent! Ready for this to be over. Sorry Spader. This series started out so well. Hard to follow at times. It's time to say good-bye.

Exquisite!
28 September 2017
This extremely well-written short film is one you will not forget! The acting is exceptional. I always enjoy watching Lance Henriksen. The topic is so timely and important. Although tumultuous and gut-wrenching, it shows a realistic point of view of the topic. This director is to be congratulating for tackling the subject. Her hard work shows, and it certainly paid off in this small gem.

Love this show
2 September 2017
The music, the scenery, the actors, the dialogue---what a great show. And the actors are REAL. They don't have to be uber thin and attractive to be so genuine and good!! I highly encourage you to watch this series. DCI Barnaby is so wonderful!!! British acting is the most realistic approach to the business.
