In the US the series was called "The World of Survival" but its original title was "Survival". This is a classic TV documentary that ranks alongside National Geographic. The episode "Garamba: The Impossible Elephants" tells over the 100 year tradition of domesticating African Elephants that was begun under the Belgians in the Congo and has continued to this day. Garamba National Park is a UNESCO Heritage site that is now in dire condition.
